The Ghost-type Pokémon watched Dark Pulse destroy the Burned Tower. It felt as though the sky had fallen. Their home was gone.

As the tower collapsed, a black crack appeared in the sky. It widened until it became a dark opening more than ten meters across.

The elderly couple on Mt. Pyre had used their Ghost Power to tear open a small crack without disturbing the creatures in the Spirit World.

The energy from Tyranitar's Dark Pulse, however, had made the entrance to the Spirit World above the Burned Tower dangerously unstable.

The evil spirits and vengeful ghosts inside sensed the opening at once and rushed toward it in a frenzy.

Residents whom Officer Jenny had sent back to their homes peered through their windows. They saw the dark opening overhead and countless spirits emerging from it.
