Summit War 26
Whitebeard stood there, head bowed, his expression unreadable.
His hand, which was holding Murakumogiri's, was trembling, not because of injury, not because of exhaustion.
His Conqueror's Haki exploded uncontrollably from his body, and the purplish-black Inazuma was more violent than ever before, crushing the stone slabs beneath his feet into dust.
He slowly raised his head, his eyes now crimson, his gaze passing over the ruins, over the smoke and dust, over the five panting naval elites, fixing on Steel Bone Kong's face, word by word.
"Void--!!!" Murakumogiri spun halfway in his palm, the white light of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit and the purple-black Inazuma of the Conqueror's Haki simultaneously pouring into the blade.
Without waiting for anyone, he strode towards the five people, each step leaving a deep crater in the ground and causing the surrounding gravel to tremble.
Marco rushed in from the side to try and stop him, but Whitebeard blocked him with one hand.
"Huff... huff... it's over. Although the price was high, at least..." Sengoku let out a long breath, the Golden Great Buddha's light had long since dissipated, and his shoulders slumped.
That last attack had drained more than 30% of his strength, but as long as the most troublesome Natsu falls, the war can still go on.
He didn't finish his sentence.
"Young Master Natsu --!!!" More than a dozen hoarse roars, almost tearing their vocal cords apart, exploded at the same moment.
Sengoku's hand trembled violently. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw Uchiha Yaoyu's face, which was completely contorted with pain.
He recognized the face; it was the Uchiha clansman who had just teamed up with Yakumi to kill Onigumo.
Now, those crimson Three-Tomoe Sharingan are spinning wildly, the Tomoe spinning faster and faster, becoming increasingly blurry, until they finally connect and merge, transforming into a pair of eerie patterns shaped like sickles.
"You damned scum— Susanoo!!!" Sky-blue Chakra exploded from Yaoyu's body, and a half-giant tens of meters tall rose from the ground, sending all the surrounding rubble flying.
It wasn't the dark gold of Natsu, nor the deep purple of Fugaku, but an extremely pure sky blue, like a clear winter sky.
Tokikake's pupils shrank to pinpoints in that instant.
He abruptly turned his head to look at Uchiha Fugaku, who was standing at the bow of the Moby Dick in the distance—that man's Mangekyo Sharingan was also of a similar shape.
Could it be that...
He couldn't finish thinking it through.
The Yakumi behind Yaoyu opened its eyes simultaneously, and another pair of similar Mangekyo Sharingan bloomed amidst blood and fire. The only difference was the pattern in the pupils—one a scythe, the other Kunai.
The second sky-blue Susanoo followed closely behind, standing shoulder to shoulder with the giant of Yaoyu.
Then came the third roar.
The voice was even hoarser and more hysterical than the previous two, as if it had been ripped from the deepest part of the chest—"Give me back Young Master Natsu!!!"
A dark red Susanoo exploded from Uchiha Kei's body. The color was not Natsu's dark gold, nor Fugaku's deep purple, but a dark red that was almost black, like congealed blood.
Uchiha Kei, the follower whom Natsu's father had personally dug out from the pile of corpses in the Ninja World War, the veteran who regarded Natsu as the only meaning of his life after his benefactor's death, now stared at those newly formed Mangekyō Sharingan like a demon crawling out of the depths of hell to claim a life.
"I will exterminate you bastards!!!"
The Sengoku was stagnant.
His hands were still in the same position as when he was panting, resting on his knees, but for the first time, an almost absurd expression appeared on his usually composed face.
They risked their lives to suppress the most troublesome Natsu.
Now three new pairs of eyes have appeared.
What kind of monsters are these Uchiha?
It's over.
Only those two words remained in the mind of the Sengoku.
We've stirred up a hornet's nest.
Marco stood on the ice, the Phoenix's blue flames still leaping on his shoulders, but he felt a chill run down his spine.
He had followed his Pops through so many years of adventures in the New World, what monsters hadn't he seen? Yet, the scene before him still sent chills down his spine.
He had witnessed Yaoyu and Yakumi joining forces to kill Onigumo. Although their teamwork was superb, either of them individually was only at the level of Headquarters Vice Admiral, at best able to touch the level of the Yonko Commander.
But what about now?
The mere change in the shape of their eyes, the mere rise of that Chakra giant from the ground, instantly elevated their aura from that of Vice Admiral Level to a level sufficient to suppress Yonko Commander Level.
Even Admiral-Emperor Level would be terrified if three of these monsters attacked together.
Steel Bone Kong clutched his chest wound, the slight upturn of his lips that had appeared when Natsu collapsed completely frozen on his face.
He has lived for over seventy years, seen countless Devil Fruit User, monsters who have mastered Haki to its extreme, and beings like Roger and Whitebeard who stand at the pinnacle of the ocean.
But he had never seen anyone jump from Vice Admiral Level level of a lieutenant general to the Yonko Commander Level in such a short time, especially three people who completed this transformation at the same time.
Just because that brat fell, just because of the word "pain," their strength instantly surged to this level.
Sora suddenly remembered that when the Five Elders insisted on targeting the Uchiha Clan, he had secretly cursed those old bastards for needlessly making enemies of the Navy for a few eyeballs.
Now he's starting to understand the Five Elders a little better.
Such eyes, such bloodline, such a terrifying talent that can instantly break through constraints simply because of anger—it's likely that no scientist could resist this allure.
What kind of monsters are these Uchiha?
Deep within the fractured ice, Natsu could clearly feel that at least a dozen bones in her body were broken.
The dull pain in his chest felt like a blunt knife repeatedly sawing at his lungs. Every breath carried the metallic taste of blood. Cold sweat trickled down his forehead and dripped onto the broken ice beneath him.
But there was no trace of pain on his face. He was smiling.
Those crimson Sharingan shone eerily beneath the dim ice, the three Tomoe in their pupils long gone, replaced by a pair of strange patterns never before seen on this sea.
The next second, a hand suddenly emerged from under the ice, its five fingers gripping the edge of the broken ice, the knuckles turning white from the force.
Using only this one hand, Natsu managed to pull herself out from the depths of the ice.
Blood gushed from his unhealed wounds, dripping from the hem of his tattered robes onto the ruins at his feet, but he was oblivious, his eyes shining like two burning will-o'-the-wisps.
