"This is the guardian deity known as the God of Destruction. It can withstand the full force of an S-rank ninjutsu, and its destructive power rivals that of the Tailed Beasts. It is also the foundation of us Uchiha, descendants of the gods."
Then Natsu's tone grew grave. "But this power carries a fatal curse. Because of the flaws in our bloodline, every bit of Mangekyō Sharingan power we use is lost for good, and it can barely replenish itself. The day our ocular power is completely exhausted, all of us will meet the same end."
He raised his eyes, looked at everyone, and said each word distinctly, "Blindness."
The forest instantly fell into deathly silence.
Blindness.
Those two words were like an ice-coated blade, stabbing fiercely into the hearts of every Uchiha clansman.
For the Uchiha, whose Sharingan was their bloodline, their pride, and the foundation of their existence, losing their eyes was a hundred times crueler than simply killing them.
Everyone understood at once.
Why Fugaku had awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan long ago, yet endured in silence for over a decade. Why he would rather be misunderstood as weak by his clansmen and be pressed step by step by Konoha than casually use that power.
Even with Kage Level strength, every time he acted, he was overdrawing his own light.
Once his ocular power was depleted, he would become meat on the chopping block. This power had never been glory. It was poison wrapped in honey.
At that thought, the wild joy on the clansmen's faces gradually faded, leaving only unshakable conflict and unwillingness. Some clenched their fists so hard that their nails dug deep into their palms, yet they could not even let out a muffled groan.
"Is there... really no solution?"
Uchiha Tetsuka stepped forward and looked at Natsu, his eyes filled with unwillingness.
He had witnessed Susanoo's world-shattering power with his own eyes, and he knew the price behind it. It felt as though a burning coal had been lodged in his chest, scorching his entire body with discomfort.
But Natsu suddenly chuckled. He lightly tapped Tetsuka's arm with the scroll in his hand, sounding both helpless and utterly confident. "Uncle Tetsuka, at least give me time to finish. I never said this dead end couldn't be broken."
"Huh? There really is a way?"
As soon as those words fell, even the usually steady Uchiha Kei abruptly leaned half a step forward, his face full of undisguised astonishment.
Natsu shook the scroll in his hand and raised a brow with a smile. "Otherwise, why do you think I went through all that trouble to have you raid the Root Base and bring this back? For fun?"
"Hashirama Cells?" Uchiha Yakumi's pupils contracted as he blurted it out.
"That's right, Hashirama Cells." Natsu nodded, tapping the sealing patterns on the scroll with his fingertips as he slowly explained. "The ancestor of the Senju Clan and the Uzumaki Clan was Otsutsuki Asura, who was also the younger brother of our ancestor, Indra."
"Our ancestor Indra inherited the Sage Eye of the Sage of Six Paths and followed the path of Yin Release;
while Asura inherited the Sage Body of the Sage of Six Paths and followed the path of Yang Release.
The most terrifying aspect of the Sage Body is its nearly immortal regenerative ability, as well as its innate and extraordinary sensitivity to natural energy."
He paused, sweeping his gaze across the pairs of eyes fixed intently on him, then continued, "As the old saying goes, lone yin cannot give birth, and lone yang cannot grow.
The Sharingan of us Uchiha is the pinnacle of Yin Release, while the Sage Body of the Senju Clan is the summit of Yang Release.
The two came from the same source and naturally complemented one another."
"As Asura's reincarnation, Senju Hashirama's Sage Body was not much inferior even to that of Asura himself. His cells can not only defy fate and greatly enhance a person's physical constitution, chakra reserves, and regenerative ability, but can even allow ordinary people to touch the threshold of natural energy."
At this point, Natsu's tone suddenly rose, every word striking the clansmen's hearts. "But for us Uchiha, the most crucial point is this—this thing can activate our bloodline and stimulate the evolution of the Sharingan.
Especially for the Mangekyō Sharingan, it can completely repair the flaws in our bloodline, allowing depleted ocular power to recover on its own and utterly breaking the fate of blindness."
A chorus of sharp inhales rose around them. The gloom weighing on everyone's hearts was instantly swept away by those words. Some clenched their fists, their breathing quickening as light ignited in their eyes once more.
Seeing their reaction, Natsu chuckled and added, "What's more, our Three-Tomoe Sharingan can naturally suppress the backlash of Hashirama Cells.
Compared to outsiders who would be consumed by the cells after transplantation and turned into a pile of rotten flesh, us Uchiha have an implantation success rate that is more than one level higher."
"Of course, that only applies to clansmen who have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan for now." He changed the subject and added, "The Three Tomoe's suppression of Hashirama Cells is still somewhat weak. We will have to wait until we optimize and modify the cells further and fully understand their workings before we can safely implant them in everyone."
"Alright, it's still too early to talk about these things. The most important matter right now is to first figure out our surroundings."
Seeing the excitement and fervor the clansmen could barely suppress, Natsu spoke and pulled everyone's thoughts back to reality. His tone was calm, yet carried unquestionable weight.
Fugaku nodded at that and looked at him. "Natsu, this was the destination you chose. Do you know where we are now?"
"Yes." Natsu nodded slightly. "This is no longer the Ninja World we came from. This world is dominated by endless seas, scattered with countless islands. Every island has its own unique culture and rules. Its territory is far larger than the Ninja World we once knew."
He paused before continuing, "The people here possess absurdly powerful physical constitutions. The strongest among them can even withstand our S-rank ninjutsu head-on.
Besides that, this world has a unique power system called Haki, though I have yet to fully grasp its specific methods of cultivation."
The instant the system had fully activated, he had already learned the name of the world beneath his feet—One Piece World. A vast world wrapped in endless oceans and made up of countless islands.
The bizarre Devil Fruits, the supreme experts who had tempered their bodies to transcendence, and the unique power system known as Haki were the fundamental characteristics of this world.
But they would have to investigate in person before learning which sea they had landed in, or which island they stood upon.
At that thought, Natsu turned to Fugaku and instructed him, "Uncle, please lead the clansmen to cut down the nearby trees and build temporary shelters and a camp."
