Bounty
The Navy lost face in the Summit War, but the bounty orders were a public statement to the world. Each number represented the Navy's final assessment of a threat. It could neither show weakness nor bluff.
But the question is, how many ranks should Uchiha Natsu be assigned to? This man—who cleaved Marineford in two with a single strike, publicly killed Steel Bone Kong, and forced Saint Imu to intervene personally, yet still failed to capture—?
Someone suggested a price of eight billion, on par with Whitebeard at his peak, but this was immediately rejected— Natsu's strength could no longer be measured by the "Emperor Level."
Some suggested 10 billion, while others felt this would boost the morale of others and diminish our own.
The numbers kept fluctuating from eight billion to one hundred and twenty billion, and then remained deadlocked between one hundred and twenty billion and one hundred and fifty billion. Vice Admiral Tsuru, who was presiding over the meeting, did not express his opinion at all, but just listened quietly.
Finally, Sengoku rose from his seat of honor, placed his hands on the edge of the table, and scanned the faces of everyone present.
His voice was hoarse and weary, yet carried an undeniable resolve—15 billion Beli.
No one objected.
Because everyone knows that man is worth that price.
The following numbers then follow naturally.
Uchiha Fugaku, the Fierce-Eyed Ghost Demon, single-handedly suppressed two candidates for Admiral, with a bounty of 3.5 billion Beli.
Uchiha Yaoyu and Uchiha Yakumi, the combined killers of the Lightning Release: Twin Duet Dance, each with a bounty of 2 billion Beli.
Uchiha Kei, Mangekyo Sharingan Awakening user, with a bounty of 1.87 billion Beli.
All other Uchiha clan members who appeared in Marineford have a minimum bounty of 600 million Beli.
The Whitebeard Pirates also received a significant boost.
Edward Newgate, the World's Strongest Man, has recovered to his peak condition after the war, and his bounty has been increased to six billion Beli.
Marco the Phoenix, Yonko Commander Level fighter who held off Admiral Akainu, has a bounty of 3 billion Beli.
Diamond Jozu has a bounty of 1.5 billion Beli. Although Fire Fist Ace was bound to the Execution Platform the entire time, his special identity and the triggering effect of this war were taken into consideration, and his bounty was set at 1.3 billion Beli.
The bounties for the other Division Commander have all been increased to varying degrees.
On that morning when the bounty was sent across the Four Blues by the News Coo's leg tube, the entire ocean seemed to have been doused with a bucket of cold water in boiling oil, instantly erupting into chaos.
In the first half of the Grand Line, several underground betting agencies withdrew all bets overnight regarding "the next Four Emperors to fall," and instead opened new betting odds—who will Uchiha Natsu's next opponent be? Marine Admiral, Four Emperors Kaido, or a full-scale attack by the Beasts Pirates?
The odds were immediately flooded with bets, forcing the casino owner to close the betting market before dawn because the amount wagered on the "World Government concedes" option had exceeded his payout limit.
In the pirate bar of the New World, drunken burly men slammed newspapers on the table, not bothering to wipe up the spilled cheap rum.
Some people counted on their fingers: 15 billion, 4 billion, 3.5 billion, 2 billion—the bounties for those twenty-odd Uchiha clan members alone are almost equal to the total bounty of the entire Whitebeard Pirates at their peak.
What's even more chilling is that these bounty notices weren't posthumous awards issued by the Navy to the dead, but rather the identity cards of a group of living "God Race" entrenched in the West Blue.
They didn't run away, hide, or fight for territory; they simply stayed openly on Origin Island, waiting for the navy to come to them.
Did the navy go?
The navy withdrew from the entire West Blue.
The Four Blues is also in turmoil Underworld.
Several large pirate crews based in the South Blue held a meeting overnight to discuss whether they should take advantage of the Uchiha's continued presence in the West Blue and make a fortune before the Navy filled the gaps in the Four Blues defense line—after all, once the Uchiha reached out, they wouldn't even have a chance to get a piece of the pie.
Meanwhile, in the North Blue, after hearing the intelligence about the Summit War, Vinsmoke Judge moved the research data on the Uchiha bloodline in his hand from the "Deferred" folder to the "Highest Priority" column. He stared at the data in silence for a moment, then silently locked it in the deepest part of the safe.
In the latter half of the Grand Line, the reactions of the various Supernovae were even more direct.
After reading the battle report, several rookie captains with bounties exceeding 100 million unanimously changed their routes—crossing out the entire line from their original itinerary that included "taking a side trip to the West Blue."
Outside Shakky's Rip-off Bar in the Sabaody Archipelago, a young man wearing a spotted hat, after reading the bounty poster, pulled the brim down and said to his long-nosed companion, "I'd rather die than fight that monster."
The reindeer doctor beside him nodded repeatedly, his head practically bobbing like a rattle drum.
On the outskirts of Marineford, several black speedboats flying CP flags were slowly sailing into the sea, which had been smoothed out by ripples.
The agents on board, dressed in uniform white suits, set up various detection instruments with expressionless faces.
The lead agent glanced down at the rapidly beating energy monitoring indicator on his wrist, his brow furrowing.
Behind him, a new recruit asked in a low voice, "How long are we going to stay in the West Blue?"
The lead agent didn't turn around, but simply folded the wanted poster and stuffed it into a waterproof bag, his voice calm yet meaningful. "Wait until he makes a move."
When the news reached the New World, the first to react were the information brokers who spent their days in taverns.
The bounty posters were slapped onto the greasy table one by one, the numbers so high that even several seasoned pirates who had seen it all choked on their drinks—15 billion! Could one person really pull that off?
But what truly made the captains of the New World put down their glasses wasn't the bounty amount, but rather the small print below the bounty poster: Uchiha Natsu, Origin Island of the West Blue.
