Shanks's Dilemma
Shanks approached Saint Shamrock, looking at his brother with a somewhat complicated expression.
He wasn't sure if he could save the other person.
Given the Uchiha Clan's vengeful nature, it's virtually impossible for me to persuade them to let Shamrock go.
However, according to previous intelligence, the Uchiha Clan always seeks revenge and repays kindness.
Back then, Ace only encountered the battle between the Marines and the Uchiha Clan while chasing the Blackbeard Pirates. Blackbeard wanted to launch a sneak attack on the Uchiha Clan, and Ace intervened and engaged in a fierce battle with him.
Subsequently, the Uchiha Clan appeared and intervened during the Summit War, managing to rescue Ace and the Marineford God's Knight from Gunko, which was guarded by 100,000 elite Marine Admiral, three Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Fleet Admiral Steel Bone Kong, Marine Garp the Hero, Commander-in-Chief Kong of the Army, Ace, and Whitebeard Pirates, and members of the Knights of God.
Even Imu, the ruler behind the World Government for eight hundred years, couldn't stop the opponent.
The Summit War wiped Marineford off the map at that time.
He had previously stopped the Navy from launching a sneak attack on the new generation of the Uchiha Clan during the Deserted Island Battle.
Although it was only to stabilize the situation at the time, Shanks estimated that if he used this favor to exchange for Shamrock's life, the Uchiha Clan would most likely agree to his request.
However, Saint Shamrock's remaining years will never be as glorious as they once were.
The Celestial Dragons are gone, the World Government is gone, and the Holy Land Mary Geoise is currently being crushed by Madara's Tengai Shinsei.
He only saved one person, not that Celestial Dragons.
Moreover, Shanks' biggest worry was that if he used this favor to save Saint Shamrock, he would lose his leverage in persuading the Uchiha Clan to abandon their plan to eliminate the Red-Haired Pirates.
He could run by himself, but there was a whole ship full of people on the Red Fosse.
Shanks valued his comrades more than his own life.
The crux of the dilemma isn't "whether or not to save my brother," but rather "what will happen to my friends after I save my brother?"
This is a very difficult choice.
Although Shanks desperately wanted to speak directly with the Uchiha Clan members, he knew that now was not the time, given the meteorites blotting out the sky and the energy fluctuations emanating from the Holy Land Mary Geoise.
He turned to his partner, Hongo, and said, "Hongo, could you please treat him?"
Upon hearing this, Hongo frowned and muttered in dissatisfaction, "Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that you're Shanks ' brother, I wouldn't want to save you, you wretched bastard!"
Even so, Hongo stepped forward and approached Saint Shamrock, beginning to bandage his wounds.
His movements weren't gentle, and even carried a hint of resentment, but each bandage was wrapped with extreme precision, applying pressure to stop the bleeding at just the right spot.
Shamrock gritted his teeth and remained silent, but his gaze remained fixed on Shanks, on that face that was almost identical to his own, his expression shifting from complex to an even deeper and more profound complexity.
Meanwhile, the other Night Owl Guard members frowned slightly as they looked at the suddenly appearing Red-Haired Pirates.
Uchiha Shadian's eyes narrowed slightly.
He knew about the Red-Haired Pirates. Uchiha Chunwu had told him about them when he returned from his training. At the time Red-Haired Pirates' goal was to prevent the situation from getting out of control and escalating the conflict further.
Moreover, with members of the Night Owl Guard protecting them, Chunwu and his group shouldn't have too much of a problem. However, the Red-Haired Pirates did indeed offer some assistance to Chunwu and his group of kids at the time.
He remembered this information very clearly because Chunwu had specifically mentioned it after he returned, saying, "Red-Haired Shanks Taichi from other pirates."
Looking at Shanks had suddenly appeared and Saint Shamrock who looked almost exactly like Shanks beside him, Uchiha Yashiro roughly guessed the relationship between the two.
His brow furrowed, his gaze sweeping back and forth between Shanks and Shamrock twice, before he slowly raised his hand, stopping the Night Owl Guard squad that was trying to surround the Red-Haired Pirates.
If possible, the Uchiha Clan Uchiha Clan does not want to harm those who have helped them.
However, at this point, they were unaware of Red-Haired Shanks's purpose.
Shanks remained silent.
The Yashiro did not speak.
A meteorite is falling from the sky.
The enormous meteorite, with a diameter exceeding several thousand meters, slowly emerged from the crack, its dark purple light surging deep within, casting a profound gloom over the entire Red Line.
It wasn't falling fast, but every inch of its descent carried an irreversible weight.
A shadow spread out from directly above Mary Geoise, engulfing the entire Holy Land in darkness.
On the streets of Holy Land Mary Geoise, the chained slaves looked up as the sky was completely obscured by a meteorite of unimaginable size.
Some people collapsed to the ground, curling up in a ball, clutching their heads;
Some people knelt on the ground with their hands clasped together, repeatedly chanting prayers that no one could understand;
There was also a young female slave standing straight in the middle of the street, head tilted back, eyes vacant, as if her soul had been ripped out, leaving only an empty shell standing there waiting for the boulder to fall.
No one ran.
They were already chained up; they couldn't escape.
Meanwhile, on the altar in the center of Mary Geoise, the ever-changing figure continued to roar.
Demonic Energy surged, threads burst forth, and the weapons of the Twenty Kings appeared and disappeared continuously as their figures changed.
Shanks stood beside Shamrock, his long black cloak billowing in the sea breeze, the hilt of Gryphon's sword resting in his palm.
His gaze shifted from Mary Geoise, sweeping over the Night Owl Guard members around him, over Killing Hall, Yashiro, Taki, and En, over Fugaku who was confronting Garp in the distance, and finally settled on the huge meteorite falling in the sky.
He didn't speak.
The Yashiro did not speak.
The thirteen elite Night Owl Guard stood silently arrayed in the shallow water, their crimson Mangekyō Sharingan gleaming in the dim light, forming a blood-red, chilling light.
The three Red-Haired Pirates stood opposite them. Beckman's cigarette was still burning, Yasopp's hand was on the butt of his gun, and Hongo was kneeling in front of Shamrock, tending to his wounds. The sea breeze blew between the two groups, carrying the scent of gravel and gunpowder.
Meteorites are falling from the sky.
Demonic Energy surged in the direction of Mary Geoise.
Shamrock looked up at Shanks ' profile.
That face, almost identical to his, was now gazing up at the sky, its Red-Hair fluttering in the sea breeze, and the three scars on its left eye standing out clearly in the dim light.
He opened his mouth, as if to say something.
But the words stuck in his throat.
He didn't know what to say.
Say thank you?
He never said thank you to Shanks in his entire life.
You're saying you shouldn't have come?
But he's already here.
Are you still as stupid as I thought?
But this idiot just saved his life.
He didn't say anything.
Shanks didn't even look at him.
