Background / History

Tang Hao fathered Tang San with Ah Yin, a Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor who had transformed into human form. Spirit Hall pursued the pair, and Ah Yin's fate made Tang Hao a lasting enemy of Spirit Hall. 36

He was expelled from the Clear Sky Sect long before Tang San publicly revealed the Clear Sky Hammer. Despite this separation, Tang Hao remained devoted to the Clear Sky Hammer's reputation and hoped Tang San could eventually return to the sect by proving his strength. 40 35

After Ye Han defeated and humiliated Tang San at the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena, Tang Hao treated his son's internal injuries and took him away for intensive training. His pride in the Clear Sky Hammer and its legacy makes him volatile when Tang San or the sect is insulted. He dismisses Ye Han's Sky-Piercing Spear as an unnamed weapon and pursues retaliation after Tang San's defeat. 31 32

He is also willing to use surprise attacks when acting against Ye Han, even while his opponents condemn those actions as dishonorable. Tang Hao appears after Ye Han defeats Tang San, heals his son, and removes him from Shrek Academy for special training. He considers Tang San's defeat a result of inferior cultivation rather than proof that the Clear Sky Hammer is weaker than the Sky-Piercing Spear. 31

After Tang San's training trip begins, Tang Hao follows Ye Han and attacks him from ambush. Demon Subduing Douluo intercepts the strike, revealing himself as Ye Han's protector and forcing Tang Hao into a direct confrontation. 32

Tang Hao deploys his nine Spirit Rings and Divine Slaughter Domain, but Demon Subduing Douluo matches him with the Coiling Dragon Staff and the Unyielding Staff Technique. Already wounded in the clash, Tang Hao rescues Tang San and Xiao Wu before fleeing. 33 34

Soul Master Tournament and Final Encirclement

Tang Hao secretly observes the Soul Master Tournament in Spirit City. When Ye Han shatters Tang San's Clear Sky Hammer, destroys the Seven-in-One Fusion, and inflicts catastrophic injuries on Tang San, Tang Hao does not reveal himself due to his injuries and the presence of several Spirit Hall worshippers. 77
