Background
Ye Han is a transmigrator who arrived in the world only a month before entering Spirit Hall. His Selection System offered four weapon Martial Souls; he chose the Coiling Dragon Staff and the Sky-Piercing Spear. The selection also granted him four ten-thousand-year Spirit Rings for his first Martial Soul, the Golden Light Wings External Spirit Bone, a body strengthened one hundredfold, and Yun Ming’s aptitude through the Sky-Piercing Spear. 3
He selected the Coiling Dragon Staff first partly to secure the protection of Qianjun Douluo and Demon Subduing Douluo, who share the same Martial Soul. The staff also contains a sealed Break Evil Dragon and carries the nine-form Unyielding Staff Technique. 3
Upon arriving at the Consecration Hall, Ye Han introduced himself as an orphan whose master had recently died, while withholding his master’s name and origin. He warned Qian Daoliu that Spirit Hall Academy would fail to win the upcoming Soul Master Tournament without his intervention. 1 Qian Daoliu accepted him into Spirit Hall, and Demon Subduing Douluo adopted him as his god-grandson. 1 2
Appearance
Ye Han is a tall, well-proportioned and handsome youth with calm eyes that make him appear more composed than his age. He usually wears simple black or dark robes. 4 15 20
- Has black hair worn loosely over his shoulders. 15
- Wields the dark-gold, dragon-scaled Coiling Dragon Staff. 5
- Summons the jade-like, silver-white Sky-Piercing Spear from his left hand. 13 20
- Possesses a pair of three-meter-long Golden Light Wings. 27
- Wore a silver mask during his Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena fights, concealing his face and identity. 29 30
Personality
Ye Han is calculating and long-term focused. He deliberately joined Spirit Hall, concealed his Spirit Ring configuration, and chose substitute status to avoid disrupting the academy team’s established coordination while preserving himself as a tournament trump card. 3 4 7
He is also highly confident and confrontational in battle. Ye Han repeatedly refuses to release his Spirit Rings against peers, openly declares his intention to build an undefeated legend, and provokes Tang San into revealing the Clear Sky Hammer. 5 16 28 30
Despite this arrogance, he shows consideration toward those he accepts as allies. He gives the Wolf Bandit leader’s Spirit Bone to Demon Subduing Douluo to help the elder break his bottleneck, teaches him the Unyielding Staff Technique, and frames his actions as responsibility to Spirit Hall and ordinary civilians. 8 10 40
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Ye Han possesses two top-tier weapon Martial Souls, allowing him to conceal one identity while fighting with the other. 13
- Coiling Dragon Staff — His first Martial Soul; it begins with four ten-thousand-year Spirit Rings. 2 3
- Sky-Piercing Spear — His second Martial Soul; he uses it publicly in the Soul Arena to avoid exposing his connection to Spirit Hall. 12 13
- His system grants a powerful move whenever he crosses a ten-level threshold; the ninth-form ultimate must be attained through his own strength. 3
Coiling Dragon Staff
The Coiling Dragon Staff is a dark-gold weapon Martial Soul containing a sealed Break Evil Dragon. Its evil-breaking attribute naturally suppresses charm and spiritual-control abilities. 3 6 7
- Nullified Hu Liena’s Fox Charm, Heavenly Fox Melody, and Fallen Fox Nightmare without Ye Han releasing his Spirit Rings. 6 7
- Its unyielding nature strengthens Ye Han’s combat momentum over prolonged battle. 3 10
- Thousand-Weight Break — A powerful single-target strike that destroyed the Wolf Bandit leader’s claws and pierced its body. 10
Unyielding Staff Technique
A complete nine-form self-created staff technique whose ninth form, Break Through to Godhood, is said to possess divine might when completed. Ye Han had mastered its first four forms by the time he began teaching Demon Subduing Douluo. 8
- Battle Heaven and Earth — The first form, focused on willpower and direct confrontation; taught to Demon Subduing Douluo. 8
- Shaking Heaven, Shattering Earth — Releases an explosive shockwave that knocked away the charging Li Kai and devastated Wolf Bandits. 5 10
- Heaven and Earth — Creates a stable, near-impenetrable field of staff shadows that defended against Sun Chuantao’s Ringed Great Blade. 6
- Heaven-Covering Earth-Blanketing — Produces dense, sweeping staff shadows effective against groups. 8 10
Nine Qingtian Forms
The Sky-Piercing Spear’s techniques emphasize precision, mobility, and the unity of wielder and weapon.
- Spear Questions the Mountains and Rivers — A controlled lifting and throwing strike used to defeat Liu Meng in one exchange. 16
- Coiling Dragon Spiral — A defensive counterattack that intercepted Dai Mubai’s White Tiger Meteor Shower before launching him backward. 24
- Rainbow Pierces the Sun — A Unity of Man and Spear thrust that concentrates power into one point; it shattered Shi Hao’s fully reinforced Black Tortoise defense. 20 21
- Nine-Bend Heavenly River — Produces nine spear blossoms that can each become a killing strike; used against Tang San and Xiao Wu after evading Tang San’s hidden weapons. 33
Forbidden-Air Domain
Ye Han employed a suppression effect that prevented Ma Hongjun from taking flight, stripping the Evil Fire Phoenix of its aerial advantage during their two-on-one Soul Arena match. 23
Spirit Bones
- Golden Light Wings — Fifty-thousand-year External Spirit Bones that grant fast, low-consumption aerial movement and protect Ye Han from attacks such as Tang San’s poisoned spider-lance fragments. 2 9 28
- Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone — Hundred-thousand-year Spirit Bone granting low-consumption flight, powerful recovery, enhanced vitality, and increased spiritual power. 11 12
- Blue Silver King Spirit Skull — Strengthens perception and spiritual power; grants a soul-impact skill that suppresses and attacks an opponent’s spiritual level. 38 39
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Seven-Star Dragon-Pattern Belt — A storage soul tool gifted by Demon Subduing Douluo. Its seven stars each contain seven cubic meters of storage, for a total of forty-nine cubic meters; the red, blue, and green stars respectively store fire-attributed items, ice-attributed items, and living creatures. 8
- Silver mask — Used during Soul Arena battles to conceal his face. 29 30
Relationships
- Demon Subduing Douluo — God-grandfather, protector, traveling companion, and student of Ye Han’s Unyielding Staff Technique. Ye Han gave him the Bloodthirsty Berserk Right Leg Bone, contributing to his breakthrough to Level 97. 2 8 10 12
- Qian Daoliu — Accepted Ye Han into Spirit Hall and later commended his service to Spirit Hall and civilians. 1 40
- Qianjun Douluo — Consecrator and supporter who studied the Unyielding Staff Technique with Ye Han; later received the Life Pill Pearl obtained through Ye Han’s expedition. 9 40

- Tang Hao — Enemy who pursued Ye Han to avenge Tang San and the Clear Sky Hammer’s humiliation; Ye Han had deliberately expected and lured this retaliation. 32 33
