Tom and Newt's Popularity

A week had already passed since the start of term, and Muya felt that the truly terrifying part of Tom's smile-filled teaching was yet to come.

Compared with Tom's "smiling blade," Muya also liked Newt's teaching. He treated every creature with great gentleness and showed the young wizards his magical creatures as well.

This made the students full of praise for the two new professors.

Muya and Theodore handed Madam Pince a permit signed by Dumbledore.

Madam Pince set down her beloved book and examined Dumbledore's signature. There were even sugar crumbs on the paper, so it seemed genuine. She looked up at them. "You may go in, but a word of warning: be careful of some of the strange books inside."

The two nodded to show they understood.

It was not Muya's first time entering the Restricted Section. Some of the books really were quite strange.

She hoped there would be a complete book on Ancient Runes inside.

The Restricted Section was clean, though the books were arranged somewhat messily. Some had even been placed on the floor.

The moment Theodore stepped into the Restricted Section, a faint sound of pages turning suddenly came from within.

He glanced in that direction, but found nothing unusual.

"Theodore, let's be careful."

Some books on the shelves did not even have titles, making them difficult to find.

Muya picked up a dark green book. Thankfully, nothing unusual happened when she opened it. She flipped through a few pages and found someone's notes inside.

It turned out to be a book recording many Dark Magic spells. She flipped farther back, only to find that the notes suddenly stopped halfway through.
