Muya had just risen when a chill slowly blew in with Tom as he entered. He closed the door, then took off his hat and overcoat.
"Where did you go, Tom?"
Normally, Muya would not have been too curious about where Tom went, but with such a fierce snowstorm outside today, it was hard not to wonder.

Muya nodded and asked expectantly, "Want hot pot?"
The words want to eat were practically written across her eyes, yet she still asked him.
"A pot of bright red, dragon-fire-hot broth? If a Troll had messed with my brain, I might eat it." His voice was as calm as still water. He had no intention of torturing himself.
Muya was only teasing him. Tom was not someone who could handle spicy food.
