Muya did not argue with him further. She hurriedly packed her things, intending to find either Dumbledore or Tom—either one would do. She wanted to know what exactly was going on.

A hand pressed down on the desk in front of her. Grindelwald seemed to have guessed where she was going. "There's no use looking for them now. They're not at Hogwarts for the time being."

It's fine. There's Defense Against the Dark Arts tomorrow. Tom will definitely be there.

"Professor Riddle took leave today, so I'll be substituting for him." Snape's appearance left all the students looking dejected. After all, he was practically a professional substitute Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Muya felt somewhat uneasy. Though she knew that, with Tom's strength, ordinary wizards posed little threat to him.

Muya spent almost the entire lesson distracted, while Snape carried on lecturing from where Tom had left off as though he had not noticed.

The moment class ended, Muya rushed off to find the doll.

The doll was eating a lollipop and watching a television drama on the computer when she suddenly heard a bang. Startled, she jerked her head up and met Muya's panicked gaze.

"What..." Before the doll could finish speaking, she was forced to fall silent.

"Emergency. Check Tom's current location." Muya turned and headed for the workshop, swiftly modifying the yellow drone into a rideable flying model.

The doll pushed the door open. "I found him. Don't worry—his location just showed up near Hogwarts. You'll probably see him soon."

Muya's expression relaxed, and she prepared to wait in the office.

Dumbledore had returned last night. He had gone to another meeting, and when Muya saw him that morning, he was still holding a box of gingerbread, from which he gave her a piece.
