Mysterious Golden Girl

"Do you remember the witch I mentioned before, the one who found your mother's wand?" The Basilisk in Tom's hand slid down his palm onto the table, hissing at the potion bottle in Snape's hand.

Muya shifted her gaze away from the potion in Snape's hand. "I remember. Didn't you say she was an ordinary witch?"

"The facts proved that she was merely bait. And according to the latest intelligence, she was also the Obscurial's older sister."

Tom's words suggested a terrifying possibility: they had begun setting their sights on ancient magic.

"Let me interrupt. If this thing wants my potion, it can trade blood, scales, and venom for it."

After not looking at the Basilisk for a while, it had somehow coiled itself around the potion bottle in Snape's hand.

"You'll have to ask for its opinion."

"The peaceful days are about to end." Tom gave a warning.

The Basilisk on the table constricted the potion bottle tighter and tighter, making a feeding motion.

Snape got a bottle of Basilisk venom, just as he had wanted.

The doll had been taken away by Dumbledore and Grindelwald, while Tom had rushed to Knockturn Alley overnight. Fortunately, Calori had come to see Muya, so the house did not feel quite so desolate.

The Quidditch match began soon afterward. Calori transformed into human form and sat beside Muya, holding a milkshake in his hand. The Little Badgers around them all looked toward the blue-haired boy who had suddenly appeared.

After breakfast, Shalian, Cedric, and the others also came over and sat near Muya.

"This is Calori. These are all my friends." Muya gave them brief introductions.
