The trio was speechless, and the four of them decided to observe Quirrell more closely.
In the following weeks, Quirrell appeared increasingly pale. Hermione and the others often followed Muya to check on Fluffy's condition.
To Muya's surprise, Hermione had already started reviewing. Merlin's beard, there were still ten weeks until the exams, and Hermione had even created a study plan for them.
Muya: How to deal with a friend who's a try-hard?
During the Easter holidays, Muya was going crazy looking at the pile of homework. Fortunately, with Shalian and the others, she finished some of her written assignments.
Then, she went with the Weasley twins to the Room of Requirement to research new products.
"We're going to make an alchemical product. Ya Mu, you haven't started teaching us yet, so just help us pass things!" After Muya last visited the Room of Requirement and stumbled upon them researching blood-sucking potion, seeing them bleed a large puddle and being so scared she made them float to the school infirmary, the two of them decided to practice alchemy recently.
"What are you going to make?" Muya helped place the materials on the table.
"A small ornament." The two exchanged a smile, then busied themselves. Three hours later, the ornament was only thirty percent complete, indicating it was a rather difficult item.
As the weather warmed up, the surface of the Black Lake completely thawed. Muya borrowed a hoe from Hagrid again to expand her vegetable patch. Although the other students were curious about this patch of land planted with strange plants, no one dared to damage it because Muya had placed a sign that read "- Dumbledore's Vegetable Garden."
This matter was tacitly approved by Dumbledore himself, as he often liked to pick fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden.
This time, she planted tomatoes, watermelons, potatoes, and grapes. Harry, Ron, and Hermione helped her.
After planting the vegetables, Muya tried sitting on Harry's Nimbus 2000 and found that she got dizzy as soon as she flew high. Hermione concluded that Muya might have a fear of heights. Oh, how awful.
They had only played for a short while before Hermione dragged her to the library. Reviewing early was certainly not wrong, but Hermione even lamented that she should have started reviewing a month ago.
Alas, she didn't understand. Even for her college entrance exams, she crammed at the last minute.
On the last day of the holiday, Muya went to an empty classroom. This time, she was there to review spells, but unexpectedly, someone else was there too.
"Hi Theodore, what potion are you brewing?" Muya, holding her spellbook, sidled up to Theodore.
Theodore stopped stirring his hand. "Good afternoon, Ya Mu. I'm brewing Felix Felicis right now."
"Wow, I heard Professor Snape mention it. I hope you can brew it successfully." Muya glanced at the bubbling cauldron, marveling inwardly, As expected of the genius Theodore, already brewing such a difficult potion.
Theodore glanced at the time and resumed stirring. "You should go practice your spells. You don't have to... watch me anymore."
Muya said, "Eh?" "How did you know?"
"Because you're holding a book and a wand," Theodore replied calmly.
"Theodore, you're so observant!" Muya exclaimed, then darted away to practice her spells.
After practicing until she felt tired, Muya said goodbye to Theodore and left the classroom. She planned to go to the library to see how Hermione and the others were progressing, hoping she wouldn't be forced by Hermione to memorize the twelve uses of dragon's blood.
After Muya left, Theodore stopped what he was doing and looked at the cauldron. "Failed again." He cleaned up the discarded potion and left.
As soon as Muya entered the library, she saw Hagrid. It was unavoidable; Hagrid was too conspicuous. He was holding a book in his hand and was talking to someone with his back to Muya. Muya guessed it must be Hermione and the others.
"Hey Hagrid," Muya tugged on Hagrid's coat. "Are you looking for some information?"
"Oh, it's Ya Mu." Hagrid, who had been startled, relaxed. He thought another young wizard had overheard what they were discussing.
"Oh Ya Mu, you're finally here." It was the first time the trio had spoken in unison, though Harry and Ron looked like they were about to cry, while Hermione wore a smile.
Hagrid took the opportunity to go find books. Ron went to see what Hagrid was looking for. A minute later, Ron returned with a large pile of books.
He whispered, "Dragons! Hagrid is looking for information about dragons: British and Irish Dragons, From Dragon Egg to Hell, Dragon Keeping Guide." Ron held up the books one by one for them to see.
Harry said, "Hagrid mentioned he's always wanted a dragon."
Ron sat down and continued, "But it's illegal to keep dragons privately, and dragons are very difficult to tame. You should really see the burns Charlie got from a dragon."
"Ron, is Charlie your brother? Is he a dragon tamer?" Muya asked curiously, looking at Ron. She hadn't seen any dragons before, not even in pictures!
"Oh yes, that's right."
"What exactly is Hagrid looking for these books for?" Hermione asked.
"Let's go take a look." As soon as Muya spoke, Harry and Ron also became eager.
Unfortunately, Hermione glanced at her. "Oh, that won't do. You only just arrived. We'll study a bit longer." Hermione pushed her book in front of Muya.
Muya, Ron, and Harry: Not gonna happen.
After Muya had recited the uses of dragon's blood three times, Hermione finally nodded. The four of them left the library together and headed for Hagrid's hut.
They arrived at Hagrid's yard and saw that all the curtains in the hut were drawn tightly, making it seem like he wasn't home. However, they still knocked on Hagrid's door.
Hagrid called out, "Who is it?" and opened the door. Seeing the four of them, he cautiously let them in before closing the door.
Upon entering, they found the hut was too warm. Winter had passed, but strangely, Hagrid had lit the fireplace and drawn the curtains.
"What brings you all here?" Hagrid's eyes darted around, occasionally glancing at a certain spot.
"Hagrid, what is that dark thing in the fireplace?" Muya asked, pointing.
"Oh, that's-" Hagrid nervously rubbed his hands.
"Where did you get it, Hagrid?" Ron said, squatting by the fire and examining the large egg closely. "It must have cost a lot of money!"
Muya and the others also walked over and squatted down to look at the egg.
"I won it," Hagrid continued. "Last night, I was drinking in the village and playing cards with a stranger. Honestly, that man was probably desperate to get rid of it."
If you find this book good, remember to add it to your bookshelf to avoid losing it next time.
