Muya tapped the dragon egg. "Hagrid, what are you going to do with this little one?"

Speaking of which, Hagrid took out a book from under his pillow. "Oh, I've been reading this book. It's very comprehensive and can even identify different types of dragon eggs. The one I got is a Norwegian Ridgeback, which is very rare."

"Of course," he said. He took a bite of the cake and then looked up at Muya.

Muya: Is he expecting me to praise him now?

"You're so amazing," Muya said, placing her hand on Calori's head and rubbing it. It felt very comfortable.

"You..." Calori covered his face and lowered his head, his ear fins turning pink at the tips.

Muya let go of him. "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

"...No, I'm going to take the cake back to eat," Calori said, tapping the box with his finger. "You're leaving for the summer, so... can you come see me more often while school is in session?" Oh gosh, he looked so wronged, Muya couldn't refuse.

"Okay, I'll come find you when I have time."

Calori smiled. "Great, I'll be waiting for you."

After Muya waved goodbye to Calori, she suddenly noticed someone standing under a large tree to her left.

"Ya, Miss Muya, have you made friends with a merman too?" It was Blaise. He walked over when he saw Muya notice him.

"That's right," Muya nodded. "You were spying on us, Blaise." She narrowed her eyes, pretending to scrutinize him.

Blaise smiled and spread his hands. "Spying is ungentlemanly. I was just reading there, fell asleep, and was woken by your conversation."

"Likewise, interrupting others is ungentlemanly. So I stayed there reading until now," he said, extending his right hand to help Muya up.

"Sorry..."

"You don't need to apologize, really. It should be my fault for falling asleep there."

"So, I'd like an opportunity to apologize." Blaise's eyes were exceptionally sincere at that moment. Since he wanted such an opportunity, she decided to give it to him. The two then returned to the castle together.

One day, Muya's owl delivered a note to her while she was having breakfast. It was from Hagrid and only had four words: It's about to hatch.

She saw an owl on the Gryffindor table as well, so Hagrid must have written to Harry too. However, they had a Herbology class that morning, so Muya decided to go check first.

"Hagrid, it's Ya Mu," Muya said, knocking on Hagrid's hut door.

When Hagrid came out, Muya could tell he was very excited and thrilled. Muya entered the house, and Hagrid was too preoccupied to pour her milk, so she poured herself a cup.

"Oh, I was holding this little one while sleeping early this morning, and I felt it moving inside. It must be about to come out, so I urgently notified you all." Hagrid didn't sit down but stared intently at the dragon egg on his table, gesturing with his hands.

"Oh, why aren't Harry and the others here yet? I remember releasing Hedwig and Miao Miao at the same time."

"I saw Harry receive the note, but don't you remember that Harry and the others have Herbology class with the Slytherin students today?" Muya calmly drank her milk.

"That's right, yes. I hope they can come quickly. Witnessing a baby fire dragon hatch is very significant. I'm sure they wouldn't want to miss it." Hagrid was already familiar with Harry and the other two.

Ron had even considered skipping class to see the baby fire dragon, but Hermione stopped him.

A moment later, Muya heard a crisp sound. A crack appeared on the dragon egg.

"Look, the little one will be out soon," Hagrid said, staring even more intently at the dragon egg.

During the break, the three of them arrived. Since Hagrid was busy watching the dragon egg, Muya opened the door for them.

The dragon egg was already making "crackling" sounds. They moved their chairs closer to watch, everyone holding their breath and paying close attention.

Suddenly, with a piercing scraping sound, the dragon egg cracked open. The baby fire dragon emerged, wobbling on the table.

Its body was entirely black, its wings were covered in spikes, it had a long nose with white nostrils, and horn bumps on its head. Its orange eyes bulged outwards.

Muya whispered, "It looks a bit... weird."

The baby fire dragon sneezed, and a few sparks shot out from its nostrils.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Hagrid murmured. Then he reached out a hand and stroked the baby fire dragon's head. The little dragon opened its mouth and bit his finger, revealing its sharp teeth.

"Good heavens, look, it recognizes its mother!" Hagrid exclaimed in surprise.

Muya also reached out a finger and stroked the baby fire dragon's head. It tilted its head and looked at her with its big, round eyes.

Suddenly, Muya saw a small, platinum-blonde head at the window. She walked over and met Draco's eyes.

"Hi Draco, do you want to come in and take a look?"

"Oh, it's Malfoy!" Ron exclaimed.

"Did you follow us?" Harry asked, standing next to Muya and looking at Draco. Hermione frowned behind them.

Draco was still smiling when he saw Muya, but his face fell when he heard Ron's voice and saw Harry.

"Oh, Potter, who told you three to sneak over here? And that big guy dares to raise a fire dragon privately, hmph." Draco said, crossing his arms and turning his head away.

Muya glanced back at Hagrid. "Alright, alright, everyone, don't argue. Draco, do you want to come in and see the baby fire dragon?"
