Hagrid Successfully Cleared of Charges

Muya was completely baffled by the two of them. "What are you trying to do?"

"You know, our dream is to personally run our own joke shop."

"So we've decided to ask you for help—help us look after this money."

Muya looked into their eyes. "Really? All of it for me?"

"Of course." They closed the bag and handed it to Muya again.

Muya accepted it.

On the day of the retrial, Muya specifically took the day off and followed Dumbledore and Hagrid through the proper channels to the Ministry of Magic.

She brought her recording pen with her, because Harry and the others might want to see Hagrid being cleared of the charges.

Along the way, many wizards turned to look at her and Dumbledore. She tried her best to ignore their stares.

"Mr. Dumbledore, please follow me." A woman walked toward them.

Dumbledore made a gesture, then turned and signaled for Muya to follow.

When they entered the wizarding elevator, Muya let out a breath of relief.

The magical elevator stopped, and Muya followed the others through corridor after corridor before finally entering a room. Naturally, quite a few wizards were already standing inside.

Muya stood beside Dumbledore and quietly activated the pen in her hand. She had asked Nicolas Flamel to improve it, and the modified recording pen was extremely difficult to detect.

First, Fudge gave a speech from a raised platform. Then the wizard behind him droned on and on before finally declaring Hagrid innocent.

Muya listened until she was drowsy, as though she were doing the reading and listening sections of an English exam filled with technical terms.

Hagrid excitedly hugged Muya beside him, instantly squeezing all her sleepiness away.
