Tom glanced at her. "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking." It was written all over her face.
"I'm going to check on the baby Occamy." Muya waved and left ahead of them.
Newt quickly settled the Tatzelworm in.
When he came out, he saw that Muya had already fallen asleep while holding a baby Occamy. He looked at Tom as if to ask, Aren't you going to do something?
"What a hassle." He stepped forward, separated Muya from the baby Occamy, then went back.
The next day, Muya sent Dumbledore a reply. Though Miao Miao was not by her side, at least she still had Newt's magical creatures.
Yue Mi quickly became familiar with the house. Aside from not daring to go near Qiqi's nest, she had run all over the place.
That afternoon, Muya wanted to make an alchemical item to pass the time, only to discover that an entire storeroom's worth of glowing materials had vanished, leaving the storeroom half-empty.
She also spotted a familiar patch of black fur. "Yue Mi?"
The little creature froze, then curled herself into a ball with the tiniest movement, pretending to be a black, furry rock.
Muya was so angry she almost laughed. Newt had never told her that Nifflers could tear apart a house this well!

"I told you, stop calling me for every little thing." Tom was wrapped in a bathrobe, his black hair damp and still flecked with foam. Water droplets slid down his hair, over his pale chest, and finally disappeared into his robe.
Oh-ho-ho, a handsome man fresh from the bath. That bathrobe was so white.
Tom waved his wand, and his hair dried instantly. His clothes and shoes also changed into a casual outfit.
