After dinner, Muya went for a walk in the corridor to aid digestion and unexpectedly ran into Lupin.

"Good evening, Professor Lupin."

"Good evening, Miss Muya." Lupin gave her a small smile.

Muya stepped closer. She felt she should tell him about his two brothers, Sirius Black and Peter.

"Professor Lupin, I have something to tell you. Do you have time now?"

Lupin was clearly surprised. Guessing that she might have a question about her studies, he said, "Of course. Let's go over there."

Muya nodded and followed him to a quieter spot.

"Professor, you know Sirius Black and Peter, don't you?" Muya looked up into Lupin's eyes, her tone certain.

Lupin froze for a few seconds upon hearing those long-absent names. He frowned, then relaxed and asked Muya, "How did you know?"

"A friend told me. Professor, there was another side to what happened back then, and the Ministry of Magic did not want to expose its shameful face by revealing it early."

"Another side?" Lupin could not quite make sense of it.

Muya nodded. She repeated to Lupin what Peter had said after being captured last year and given Veritaserum. Lupin's expression shifted constantly.

"Merlin... I can't believe it. Peter was the traitor. Sirius was innocent..." Lupin's eyes filled with tears.

Muya gave him a few Honey Buzz Candies, leaving him some time to process it before she departed.

Muya had noticed it on the train—Professor Lupin seemed to be living a very difficult life.
