Taking Something Destined to Be Destroyed Doesn't Count as Stealing, Right?

His conversation with Reverse-Flash had made Zhang Tianran understand many things. But he did not dwell on them too much and still traveled through the timeline according to his original plan.

If a Speedster traveled through time too often, they would be targeted by the Time Wraiths. These things were practically the natural enemy of all Speedsters, but for some reason, Zhang Tianran had not encountered any during either of his trips through time.

After successfully arriving in 1925, Zhang Tianran looked at the massive spacecraft before him, a flicker of delight passing through his eyes.

A ship capable of time travel was nothing special to Zhang Tianran. Speedsters could also travel through time, and could even alter the method of travel according to their own intentions.

For example, the Speed Force could allow a Speedster to travel back into their past self, or let two Speedsters exist within the same timeline.

Moreover, the Speed Force could bring a Speedster to a specific time and place according to their wishes, without requiring precise locations or coordinates.

Coupled with the Speed Force's ability to protect a Speedster's body and grant them a certain degree of immunity to damage from the timeline, all of those abilities were far superior to this Time Ship.

But Zhang Tianran had still chosen to come to this point in time, first because of his urge to collect things, and second because the equipment aboard this ship was quite good. It could serve as his private laboratory or even a place to live.

He took out a holographic projector and temporarily concealed the area. Then Zhang Tianran used the Speed Force to enter the ship and directly tossed out Gideon's database, motherboard, and everything else.

That was right—the same artificial intelligence as the Gideon inside the Time Vault.

In an instant, the entire Time Ship lost all control. Though it did not go out of control, every one of its functions came to a complete halt.

And that was exactly what Zhang Tianran needed. He first entered Speed Mode and threw out everything left aboard the ship, including a certain safe and its contents.

Next, he used The Atom's technology to shrink the entire Time Ship. Since it was so enormous, the energy consumption was equally immense. Almost everything Zhang Tianran had painstakingly obtained from Palmer Tech was drained at this moment.

Immediately afterward, he took out the large number of fragments he had prepared and placed them one by one in their designated locations.

Next, he just needed a bomb with destructive power equivalent to the explosion of the Waverider.

After handling everything, Zhang Tianran exited Speed Mode. He watched as another Waverider appeared and blew the Waverider below to smithereens.

Taking something destined to be destroyed didn't count as stealing, right?

Ignoring the bewildered Legends below, Zhang Tianran put away the damaged holographic projector, vibrated a patch of ground, and quietly sank into it. (This was around the end of season six and the beginning of season seven of Legends of Tomorrow. It didn't matter if you didn't know.)

A moment later, Zhang Tianran appeared in an uninhabited place. He weighed the model-like ship in his hand with satisfaction and began traveling through time.

This time, Zhang Tianran still did not encounter any Time Wraiths, arriving in 1825 without a hitch.

There was nothing Zhang Tianran needed at this point in time. The only reason he had come here was to give his artificial intelligence time to grow.

He restored the Time Ship in his hand to its normal size, vibrated the hull to make it capable of travel, then entered the ship with everything he had prepared and began modifying it.

In his accelerated state, Zhang Tianran quickly completed the ship's modifications. Once the work was fully finished, the artificial intelligence he had personally programmed took over control of the entire ship.

"How does your new body feel? You should be able to use all your functions now, right?" Zhang Tianran looked at the ship he had modified with great satisfaction.

"Hello, Zhang Tianran. I can finally see you... This new body feels very comfortable. I can feel myself growing." A gentle female voice came from the ship's control console.

"Good choice of voice. I have a task for you. Over the next two hundred years, work hard and grow. I'll come back to find you more than two hundred years later..." Zhang Tianran stretched and gave his instructions.

"...I understand. Should I keep the ship hidden at all times?"

Zhang Tianran actually heard a hint of reluctance in the voice, as though he were facing a real human being.

"Yes, use your own judgment. Don't affect the timeline. See you in two hundred years." Zhang Tianran ignored the artificial intelligence. It was still incomplete and needed time to grow.

After leaving the artificial intelligence and the ship at this point in time, Zhang Tianran set off once more to replenish the energy required for shrinking matter.

Only after doing all that did Zhang Tianran return to his normal timeline.

Back aboard the ship, Zhang Tianran first greeted his artificial intelligence, then said somewhat hesitantly, "Long time no see. Hmm... should I give you a name...?"

"Let's call you Zero! Zero, how do you feel now?"

As Zhang Tianran spoke, the lights inside the ship gradually lit up, and a somewhat hazy female figure appeared before him.

"I feel very well now. The task you assigned has been completed. Zero can now provide you with assistance at any time." Zero's voice rang out with an unusually lifelike quality.

"Change the avatar. I don't like this one. And make it smaller too; don't take up so much space," Zhang Tianran ordered with a frown.

When he had first seen Gideon, Zhang Tianran had found it strange. Why did an artificial intelligence need a virtual avatar? It looked rather creepy. His own artificial intelligence definitely could not have that kind of appearance. Wasn't that practically telling everyone it was an artificial intelligence?

After receiving Zhang Tianran's command, Zero quickly changed into a different virtual female form.

"Mm, very good. This will be your body from now on. Stay here for the time being. I'll notify you if there's a mission."

After confirming the status of the artificial intelligence Zero, Zhang Tianran took a communicator, placed it against his ear, and turned to leave the ship.

When Zhang Tianran returned to S.T.A.R. Labs, Firestorm had already completed the separation. The two people who had been fused together for more than a year had finally become independent individuals again.

Barry had already sent Martin Stein home, while Ronnie Raymond was being lovey-dovey with Caitlin.

"Uh, looks like I missed a lot of exciting things." Delayed by a little time aboard the ship, Zhang Tianran had not made it back in time to witness Firestorm's separation.

"Did getting Super Speed make you as fond of procrastinating as Barry? But it's fine. I recorded the explosion." Cisco held a tablet and spoke as if showing off.

Hearing that, Zhang Tianran could not help frowning.

"Wait, did you only separate them? You didn't do anything else?" Zhang Tianran suddenly asked.

"You mean..." Cisco remembered as well and hurriedly said, "I'll notify Barry and have him bring Professor Stein back."
