Lucifer

The first time he saw time slow down without using the Speed Force, it felt strange.

But it seemed... not that big a deal. Slowed time did not affect him, even though he was not some kind of angel.

"Amenadiel, I'm actually rather curious. Why are angels' wings black? According to how angels are described, shouldn't they be pure white?" Zhang Tianran looked at the angel before him and asked curiously.

Hearing this, Amenadiel grew somewhat angry.

"Foolish human, dreaming of..." Amenadiel did not wish to continue talking with Zhang Tianran and immediately made his move.

Seeing this, Zhang Tianran instantly activated the Speed Force. Amenadiel's movements immediately became slow motion in Zhang Tianran's eyes...

He lightly patted Amenadiel's shoulder, dodged the incoming wing, and pushed Amenadiel, who stumbled with the momentum, aside.

"With your current human body, you have no way of defeating me. How about this? Take me to meet your father, or your mother. There are some things I want to ask them..." Zhang Tianran walked up to Amenadiel, who had fallen to the ground, and spoke calmly.

"The Speed Force... you're a Speedster!" Amenadiel's expression shifted slightly, and the fighting spirit that had just risen within him vanished in an instant.

As an angel, he had heard of the Multiverse and other higher-level powers. While he was not afraid of Speedsters, Amenadiel knew perfectly well that with his body in the human world, he could not do anything to a Speedster.

"Yeah, a fairly capable Speedster. I'm sorry for barging into the world your father created, but I had no choice. I need some help, otherwise things could get dangerous." Zhang Tianran spoke in an even tone.

In truth, Zhang Tianran was not in a particularly good mood right then. Though Lucifer, God, and the others had been his targets all along, he had actually wanted to rest in this world for a few days.

Yet he had barely arrived in this world when he suddenly ran into an angel. It looked like trouble.

Though he had not held out much hope, slinking away just like that was not his style.

"Don't cause trouble in this world, or else..."

Somewhat to Zhang Tianran's surprise, Amenadiel did not go to Heaven to find God, nor did he continue fighting. After delivering a warning, he simply flew away.

Zhang Tianran looked up at the empty sky and suddenly said, "Um... God, are you interested in meeting me? Or helping me out with something?"

He waited for a long time, but there was still no response. By then, many cars had piled up behind him, their horns blaring madly.

When Amenadiel had arrived, he had slowed time, so Zhang Tianran's car had not affected anything while stopped in the middle of the road. But now that Amenadiel had left and time had returned to normal, people were quickly blocked by Zhang Tianran's parked car.

"Since you aren't responding, I'll take that as permission to stay in this world."

After casually brushing off this world's God, without caring what the other party thought, Zhang Tianran returned to his car and cleared the obstruction from the increasingly congested road.

According to the setting, this world had been created by this God. His wife also seemed to possess the ability to create worlds in the later plot.

Zhang Tianran would not blindly believe the comics, television shows, and such that he had watched in his previous life, but they could still provide him with some useful reference.

"According to timeline detection, that angel will not return to Heaven anytime soon." Zero's voice finally came slowly at this moment.

Amenadiel had slowed time. Although it had no effect on Zhang Tianran, it had restricted Zero's capabilities.

The Time Ship could travel through time, yet it was also affected by time. That was rather disappointing...

"Mm, I know all that.

Zero, search online for information on Lucifer. Focus on Lucifer Morningstar and the bar." After casually assigning Zero a task, Zhang Tianran continued driving. Though Amenadiel had affected his mood, Zhang Tianran had no intention of changing his plans.

He would rest for a few days first, then go find Lucifer and see whether he could obtain any information from him. Preferably something related to creating worlds or becoming a god.

Perhaps because Amenadiel had already come once, Zhang Tianran encountered no further trouble afterward. He easily checked into a hotel, ate a lavish seafood feast, drank quite a bit, and finally fell asleep.

After he was deeply asleep, the Time Ship in his pocket slowly flew out. The ship's weapons remained charged and ready at all times, diligently guarding Zhang Tianran's safety.

After sleeping for more than ten hours straight, Zhang Tianran finally woke up. Looking at the miniature Time Ship floating beside him, a faint smile could not help appearing on his lips.

He had spent so much time making counterfeit ship fragments... traveling through timelines, personally studying and writing artificial intelligence code...

None of that hard work had gone to waste. It had been a long time since he had rested so peacefully.

"Let's go, Zero. We've rested long enough. It's time to have a chat with Lucifer." After swiftly washing up with the Speed Force, Zhang Tianran headed straight for Lucifer's location.

As early as the previous night, Zero had used this world's internet to locate Lucifer's Bar, along with every trace of information about Lucifer that had appeared online since Zhang Tianran arrived in this world.

There was not much useful information, really. Lucifer had come to the human world for a vacation, and naturally spent every day indulging in debauchery and pleasure.

On the other hand, Zero had gathered quite a bit of information about the demon Mazikeen by Lucifer's side.

But to Zhang Tianran, it was all basically useless.

Too lazy to drive, Zhang Tianran directly used the Speed Force to reach Lucifer's Bar. After a night of wild revelry, the place was filled with drug addicts high from drugs and drunkards passed out everywhere.

However, thanks to Mazikeen's management, the bar did not have any strange odors. Instead, it was filled with the fragrance of various liquors.

When Zhang Tianran found Lucifer, he was sound asleep in bed with four or five completely naked beautiful models, utterly unaware of Zhang Tianran's arrival.

"Hello, Lucifer. I heard you enjoy having people owe you favors." Ignoring the women in Lucifer's bed, Zhang Tianran got straight to the point.

For angels, sleep was optional. Yet even while asleep, it did not mean they were weak.

"You really know how to pick your timing. Couldn't you wait a few more hours?" Sure enough, Lucifer opened his eyes with an unwilling expression and looked at Zhang Tianran curiously.

PS: Just to clarify, this is the world of the TV series Lucifer. There was a crossover during Crisis on Infinite Earths, though it only lasted a few minutes.

This book will not be limited to just one world. I'll write about interesting worlds like The Flash, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and the Justice League. It also will not follow the timelines of the shows, but there will be reasonable explanations.

After all, Speedsters can travel through time, so timelines can be whatever!
