Lucifer

The first time he saw time slow down without using the Speed Force, the feeling was strange.

But it seemed... not that big a deal. Slowed time did not affect him, even though he was no angel or anything like that.

"Amenadiel, I'm actually pretty curious. Why are angels' wings black? Going by how angels are described, shouldn't they be pure white?" Zhang Tianran looked at the angel before him and asked curiously.

At those words, Amenadiel became somewhat angry.

"Foolish human delusions..." Unwilling to continue speaking with Zhang Tianran, Amenadiel attacked directly.

Seeing this, Zhang Tianran immediately activated the Speed Force. Amenadiel's movements instantly became slow motion in Zhang Tianran's eyes...

He lightly patted Amenadiel's shoulder, dodged the incoming wings, and shoved Amenadiel, who was falling forward from the momentum, aside.

"With your current human body, you have no way of defeating me. How about we make a deal? Take me to meet your father, or your mother. There are a few things I want to ask them..." Zhang Tianran walked over to the fallen Amenadiel and spoke calmly.

"The Speed Force... You're a Speedster!" Amenadiel's expression shifted slightly, and the fighting spirit that had just risen vanished in an instant.

As an angel, he had heard of the Multiverse and other higher powers. Though he was not afraid of Speedsters, Amenadiel knew very well that, with his body on Earth, he simply could not do anything to a Speedster.

"Yeah, a fairly capable Speedster. I'm sorry for intruding into the world your father created, but I had no choice. I need some help, or things might get dangerous." Zhang Tianran's tone remained calm.

In truth, Zhang Tianran was not in a particularly good mood right now. Although Lucifer, God, and the others were his targets, he had actually wanted to rest in this world for a few days.

Yet he had barely arrived in this world when he suddenly ran into an angel. It looked like things had become a little troublesome.

Though he had not held out much hope, leaving with his tail between his legs was not his style.

"Don't cause trouble in this world, or else..."

Somewhat to Zhang Tianran's surprise, Amenadiel did not go to Heaven to find God, nor did he continue fighting. After leaving that warning, he simply flew away.

Zhang Tianran looked up at the empty sky, then suddenly said, "Um... God, would you be interested in meeting me? Or maybe lending me a hand or something?"

He waited for a long time, but there was still no response. By then, quite a few cars had piled up behind him, their horns blaring wildly.

According to the setting, this world had been created by this God. And in the later plot, his wife seemed to possess the ability to create worlds as well.

Zhang Tianran would not completely trust the comics and television shows he had seen in his previous life, but they could still provide him with some reference.

"According to timeline scans, that angel will not return to Heaven anytime soon." Zero's voice finally came slowly.

Amenadiel slowing time had not affected Zhang Tianran, but it had restricted Zero's capabilities.

The Time Ship could travel through time, yet it was also affected by time. That really was rather disappointing...

"Mm, I know all that.

Zero, search online for information on Lucifer. Focus on Lucifer Morningstar, as well as information about his bar and related matters." After casually assigning Zero a task, Zhang Tianran continued driving. Although Amenadiel had affected his mood, Zhang Tianran had no intention of changing his plans.

He would rest for a few days first, then find Lucifer and see whether he could get any information from him. Preferably something related to creating worlds or becoming a god.

Perhaps because Amenadiel had already come once, Zhang Tianran encountered no further problems. He checked into a hotel with ease, enjoyed a lavish seafood dinner, drank quite a bit, and finally fell asleep.

After he was sound asleep, the Time Ship in his pocket slowly flew out. The ship's weapons remained charged and ready at all times, diligently guarding Zhang Tianran's safety.

After sleeping for more than ten hours straight, Zhang Tianran finally woke up. Looking at the tiny Time Ship hovering beside him, he could not help but smile.

He had spent so much time making imitation ship fragments... traveling through the timeline, personally learning and writing artificial intelligence code...

None of that hard work had been wasted. It had been a long time since he had rested so comfortably.

"Let's go, Zero. We've rested enough. It's time to have a chat with Lucifer." After quickly washing up with the Speed Force, Zhang Tianran headed straight for where Lucifer was.

As early as the previous night, Zero had found Lucifer's Bar through this world's internet, along with every trace of information about Lucifer that had appeared online since he came to this world.

There was not much useful intelligence, really. Lucifer had simply come to Earth for a vacation, spending every day drinking, partying, and indulging himself.

On the other hand, Zero had gathered quite a bit of information on the demon Mazikeen beside Lucifer.

But for Zhang Tianran, it was basically all useless.

Too lazy to drive, Zhang Tianran used the Speed Force to head straight to Lucifer's bar. After an entire night of revelry, drug addicts high on narcotics and drunkards were visible everywhere.

However, thanks to Mazikeen's management, the bar did not have any strange odors. Instead, it was filled with the fragrance of various liquors.

When Zhang Tianran found Lucifer, he was sleeping soundly in bed with four or five completely naked female models, utterly unaware of Zhang Tianran's arrival.

"Hello, Lucifer. I heard you really like having people owe you favors." Ignoring the beautiful women in Lucifer's bed, Zhang Tianran got straight to the point.

For angels, sleep was optional. But even while asleep, they were not necessarily weak.

"You really know how to pick your timing. Couldn't you wait a few more hours?" Sure enough, Lucifer opened his eyes with an unwilling expression and looked at Zhang Tianran curiously.

P.S. Let me explain: this is the world of the TV series Lucifer. There was a crossover during Crisis on Infinite Earths, though it only lasted a few minutes.

This book will not be limited to a single world. I'll write about interesting worlds such as Flash, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and the Justice League. It also will not follow the timelines of the shows, but there will be reasonable explanations.

After all, Speedsters can travel through time, so timelines can be whatever!
