The Teacher: Used to It
The middle-aged teacher didn't ask any more questions. After listening to the whole story, he realized that this was a premeditated bullying incident.
He noticed that the two of them had looked to the side together, as if they were looking for someone.
He immediately realized that a freshman had probably given them some favor, which emboldened them to cause trouble.
This kind of thing isn't exactly common, but it has happened quite a few times, and he's dealt with it quite a few times.
He turned to two rather robust-looking freshmen in the crowd and instructed them, "You two, carry this student to the infirmary, explain the situation to the infirmary staff, and let him recover properly."
The two freshmen nodded quickly and walked over cautiously, each supporting one of Huo Yuhao's arms, trying not to touch the bruises on his shoulder, and slowly walked towards the infirmary.
Huo Yuhao kept his head down and didn't say a word from beginning to end. Only his clenched fists betrayed the turbulent emotions he was experiencing.
The teacher didn't give the two senior students a chance to explain. With a surge of Soul Power, he enveloped their bodies and headed towards the Academic Affairs Office.
The two senior students were now like wilted eggplants, their heads drooping, not even daring to struggle. Their previous arrogance had long since vanished in fear.
The crowd of onlookers gradually dispersed when they realized there was no more excitement, leaving only a few older students standing there, shaking their heads, sighing, and whispering among themselves.
Lin Ye had been leaning against a pillar in the corridor the whole time, without moving an inch. Only now did he slowly straighten up, click his tongue, and a playful smile in his eyes.
He knew perfectly well that those two senior students were incredibly lucky. If the teacher had arrived even half a minute later, Huo Yuhao would have been driven to the brink, Sky Dream Ice Silkworm would definitely have been forced to intervene. In that case, those two guys wouldn't even have been able to save their lives.
However, you can't escape your fate forever. Given Huo Yuhao's vengeful nature, he'll remember every humiliation he suffered today—the slap he received, the drugging he was given—in his little notebook.
Once Huo Yuhao gains power, he'll target these two first; their days are numbered.
As for how long he can live?
Lin Ye weighed the options and figured that it would take at least six months, or at most a year, for these two to lose their lives to Huo Yuhao.
Oh no, maybe even faster. Once Huo Yuhao gets the Second Martial Soul from the Far North, dealing with these two ants will be a piece of cake.
[Tsk tsk tsk, Huo Yuhao really had a tough time today, so tough that I almost burst out laughing while leaning against the pillar just now.]
Huo Yuhao was actually blocked at the entrance of the Teaching Building by two senior students.
Those two guys stood there like two roosters who had won a fight, their shoulders so wide you could hang two backpacks on them.
They started picking a fight right away, saying things like "lower grades should greet older grades," their ability to lie through their teeth is truly first-rate.
The most ingenious part was that the two of them used a dirty trick. They got some colorless and odorless powder from who-knows-where, and Huo Yuhao's legs went weak just as he tried to run away.
Their posture made it obvious to anyone with eyes that they had been tricked, yet these two old men were still showing off by shaking the white jade porcelain bottle, uncorking it and then putting it back in, as if they were afraid others wouldn't know they had cheated.
I initially thought this kid was going to fight head-on, after all, the murderous intent in his eyes was almost overflowing, scarlet red, like he had just been pulled out of a pool of blood. If I were him, I would have attacked too.
As it turned out, after holding it in for a long time, he shouted, "Teacher, save me!" It seems that Sky Dream Ice Silkworm had given him Spirit Power that day, because his voice was so loud that half of the Outer Court could hear it.
It has to be the cunning and shrewd Sky Dream Ice Silkworm. If it were Huo Yuhao, I doubt he would have cried for help.
To be honest, those two upperclassmen were a bit dim-witted. They were only thinking about provoking Huo Yuhao to make the first move so they could accuse him of "attacking a senior." Didn't they ever consider that he might call for help?
They just stood there laughing like idiots. One said, "You little bastard, you dare to glare at me?" and the other said, "I'll gouge your eyes out." They were as arrogant as if Shrek was their private property.
The funniest thing was that when the middle-aged teacher arrived, their first reaction wasn't to argue, but to both of them glance up at the second floor, looking at each other like they were looking for their father.
But where was anyone upstairs? Dai Huabin had already slipped away without a trace, leaving them no way out.
I felt embarrassed for them. Those two probably still haven't realized that they were just a brick in Dai Huabin's hand, the kind that's used and then thrown away.
I'm really impressed with Dai Huabin. He ordered people to ambush people, but when things really went wrong, he ran away faster than a rabbit.
Such despicable tactics are truly befitting of someone from the White Tiger Duke's Estate; their style of doing things is no different from that of street thugs.
That's normal, though. They're spoiled brats; besides bullying others, they're the first to run away when trouble comes.
Huo Yuhao has finally lost his temper today. He values his dignity the most and has never knelt down in the White Tiger Duke's Estate for more than ten years. Even when the kitchen servants beat him, he gritted his teeth and didn't say a word.
Today, he was tricked into kneeling in public by two underhanded tactics and even cried out, "Teacher, save me!" This humiliation will probably be etched into his bones.
However, to be fair, this kid is quite patient. He was almost driven mad with anger just now, but he still listened to advice and cried for help instead of fighting back. Otherwise, something really serious would have happened today.
Oh no, it's that Sky Dream Ice Silkworm and didn't expose herself at the crucial moment. Otherwise, if her Spirit Power had been leaked, all the Titled Douluo of Shrek would have had to come over, and that would have been really stirring up a hornet's nest.
Although that old silkworm was usually muddle-headed, he was quick-witted in crucial moments. He knew that calling for help was more effective than fighting head-on, and he saved Huo Yuhao's life.
I saw the onlookers around me, and most of the older students looked completely unfazed.
Several others who had initially tried to break up the fight were pulled back by their companions, muttering, "It's better to avoid trouble," which is a realistic view.
Lin Ye was writing in his diary when the people next to him exchanged glances, clearly having all received notifications that the diary had been updated.
Xiao Xiao didn't notice; she puffed out her cheeks, somewhat indignant, and kept shouting that the teacher should expel those two older students directly.
Xiao Xiao harbored no ill will towards Huo Yuhao; it was just that she was dissatisfied with some things she read about Huo Yuhao in Lin Ye's diary.
There was no deep-seated hatred between them, so she was still very angry when she saw Huo Yuhao being bullied by older students.
Unlike Xiao Xiao, Ning Tian remained calm.
He gently patted Xiao Xiao's shoulder to calm her down.
As for Wang Dong'er, she looked like she was enjoying the show, which surprised Lin Ye.
Even if the timeline changed due to the Butterfly Effect, Wang Dong'er and Huo Yuhao should still be considered ordinary friends. So why did Wang Dong'er seem to be watching a good show?
It should be understood that Huo Yuhao is destined to be the Child of Destiny born from Douluo Star in the past ten thousand years, and everyone around him will be attracted to him.
But so far, Huo Yuhao doesn't seem to have any friends.
