Background

Elysia and An Yu were raised together despite not being biologically related. During childhood, they were isolated together after other children attacked An Yu and were defeated by him; Elysia later learned why the conflict had occurred. 4 99

She initially wants to travel the world, but increasingly vivid dreams disrupt her daily life. The dreams depict a ruined world, the Herrschers, and repeated deaths at the hands of Finality. Their distorted sense of time leaves her distressed and unusually sensitive to Honkai-related subjects. 2 3

In one dream identity, Mobius identifies her as an orphan from Vostok-51. Elysia rejects this biography as not truly hers, but the recurring dreams gradually force her to treat their events and people as meaningful rather than disposable fiction. 5
