The Victor's Voice-A Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir
News of the Harrenhal mutiny spread far and wide, not only in Riverrun but throughout the entire Riverlands.
Within the Twins, Jon was even hailed as the most audacious and wildest bastard in history.
"If you ask me, Blackfyre is still the wildest. Just think how many times they've Targaryen?!"
"What nonsense are you spouting? Blackfyre is wild because Aegon IV gave him the Targaryen's ancestral sword, Blackfyre."
And they even legalized it, Jon? He has nothing to his name! And he's a deserter! A deserter plus a mutiny, who do you think is wilder?"
"Exactly! And he even conquered King's Landing and killed Joffrey. That's terrifying!"
The Twins naturally received the notification from Jon, and the news of the war in King's Landing spread far and wide in this way.
Jon has become the most talked-about topic these days.
Whenever she heard someone talking about Jon, Roslin would stop and pause.
These days, she would even leave a crack in the window when she went to sleep at night, for fear that Jon's ravens wouldn't be able to get in.
Ever since news of Jon's coup arrived, she hadn't stopped praying for him for a single day. Roslin knew that Jon was now deeply embroiled in the most dangerous vortex, and whether the two of them would ever see each other again was still a huge unknown.
I recently heard that Jon has conquered King's Landing — Roslin feels like she's dreaming.
Accompanied by her maid, Roslin wandered around outside for a while before returning to her room. But as soon as she stepped into the room, she immediately turned around to block the maid's view.
The maid who was following behind her almost bumped into her.
"Miss?"
"Annie, I want to be alone for a while. Why don't you go downstairs and rest for a bit?"
The maid named Annie nodded, thinking that there could be any danger to Roslin in her room, and then changed her mind and left.
After confirming that the maid had left, Roslin clenched her small fist and tiptoed to Raven's side.
She could even hear her own heartbeat.
Roslin gently reached out and removed the letter from the Raven's leg, then took some lamb's food from the table and eagerly began to read it.

Miss Roslin, how are you?
I was in King's Landing for a while and was really too busy to reply to you. Roslin was already getting impatient just reading the beginning. What do you mean by "a bit too busy in King's King's Landing"? Just thinking about it makes it clear that Jon must have gone through countless near-death experiences to get to where he is today.
So she continued reading:

Thankfully, I finally avenged my father and rescued my sister Sansa. It was all worth it. I'm relatively safe now, ruling King's Landing. I'll go find you after I hand it over to King Stannis.
But before that, there's something I'd like to ask you—
As Roslin read Jon's letter, her expression grew increasingly serious. Jon wanted her to go to Old Walder Old Walder persuade him to switch allegiance to Stannis.
Roslin was clever; she knew that the alliance between House Frey and Winterfell had broken down, and that Jon had openly opposed Robb's ascension to the throne and Stannis's ascension.
Such a demand would undoubtedly lead to a rift between brothers.
The idea of brothers breaking ties is still a serious issue that touches on the moral values of the Westeros people.
But at the same time, Roslin understood Jon's difficulties and put herself in his shoes Jon; she knew he was also having a hard time.
Upholding Stannis was her father's dying wish, but doing so would be going against her brother. However, Roslin was determined to help Jon find Old Walder.
How did you two contact each other?
When Old Walder received Roslin's letter, this was his first question. Old Walder's gaze was intense, as if he wanted to see right through his daughter.
Roslin looked at her group of older brothers who exuded an air of old age around her, and blushed with shame.
"Jon, Jon, he... he has a very clever Raven that can find my... my room—"
Roslin's voice grew softer and softer, but thankfully Old Walder and her brothers still heard her clearly.
"I didn't expect this kid to be so capable; even his Raven are quite something," Old Walder said jokingly, drawing laughter from his children and grandchildren around him.
"However!" Old Walder changed the subject, and everyone fell silent. Roslin was especially terrified, her whole body tense up as if awaiting her fate.
"Roslin, you are my daughter, yet you do these things with a bastard. Is this acceptable?" Old Walder said in a gloomy voice. Roslin immediately knelt before him.
"Father, it's all my fault. I should have told you when he first sent me the letter."
Roslin, with her slender figure, knelt on the ground, her body curled up, looking like a tiny rabbit thrown into a doghouse.
However, Old Walder didn't feel much pity for this daughter; she was simply prettier than his other daughters, and there was no essential difference between them.
"You want to marry him?"
"Father?"
Roslin looked up, her brown eyes showing nine parts shock and one part surprise.
"Get out, just seeing you annoys me." Old Walder muttered under his breath. Roslin quickly stood up, nearly falling over due to her aching knees, but still turned and left the room.
They had only gone halfway when Old Walder said, "Don't go far, wait outside."
"Yes, Father."
After Roslin left the room, Old Walder spoke up, "Tell me, what do you all think if I were to marry Roslin to Jon?"
Old Walder's children and grandchildren were silent for a moment, then Stevron, who had recently left Robb, spoke up, "Father, although Jon is just a bastard, he won the Iron Throne for Stannis and openly supported him. Even an ordinary Earl might not be able to reward his achievements. Roslin marrying him is not a bad deal."
"Yes, Father, I think so too," said Rhaegar Frey, who had gone to Riverrun with Jon that day.
Because Jon refused to support Robb, he did not keep his promise to have his son Robert Frey serve as Jon's squire, but now the situation has changed so drastically that it feels like a dream.
The group of old comrades all expressed their opinions, believing that Jon was now qualified to marry into the House Frey.
Moreover, it was a formal, sincere marriage, not the tentative, or even humiliating and demeaning, marriage that Old Walder had done before.
"Robb, that brat, calls himself King in the North and King of the Trident River, but our the Twins is right here."
"Like a knife cutting through his so-called territory," the Iron Throne will surely win us over. Marrying Roslin to Jon is tantamount to us showing goodwill to the Iron Throne. "Grandfather, I think it's a good idea!" The speaker was Black Walder, who was fighting alongside Robb in the Westerlands.
He was furious that Robb had broken his promise to marry Jeyne Westeros and returned to the Twins with his family's army.
Jon, on the other hand, had taken the House Frey soldiers from the East Road Army ahead of him because he had started the mutiny earlier.
The House Frey, who were initially annoyed by this, are now relieved.
The presence of those soldiers was an investment in Stannis and proof of their loyalty.
Even if Jon were standing in front of them now, they wouldn't blame or question him; instead, they would have to loudly thank him.
Seeing that his children and grandchildren all agreed to ally with Stannis and marry Jon, Old Walder made his decision and called Roslin back to his side.
Roslin, back before her father and brothers, still kept her head down, not daring to look up.
"Lift your head up!" Old Walder said impatiently. "Don't embarrass the House Frey."
Roslin slowly raised her head, her eyes slightly red.
"Roslin, I want you to write a letter to Jon by hand, and I will send it to King's Landing's Landing." Old Walder seemed to have thought of something, and softened his tone.
"Father, please tell me, I'll write it now. I only beg you not to blame Jon, I've made mistakes too," Roslin pleaded repeatedly.
Looking at his daughter, whose elbows were starting to sway outwards, Old Walder sneered.
