"Gwen, wait here for me a moment, I'll be right back," Jiang Li said.

"Okay, be careful." Gwen found a clean bronze slab to sit on, knowing that what was about to happen would likely be very one-sided.

Jiang Li pressed his thumb down on the dial.

Buzz!

With a flash of green light, Jiang Li transformed into a blue alien resembling a velociraptor, with wheels on its feet and wearing a black mask.

Galvan System, Beastmen.

[XLR8 (XLR8)]!

Although XLR8 was already extremely fast, Jiang Li was not satisfied. With a thought, he perfectly superimposed the Kryptonian's ultimate speed panel, which was enough to travel through time, onto this body.

"Where's my watch?!" he roared in terror.

Before he could react, his collar was grabbed from behind. After a dizzying spin, he was thrown directly into the Abyss lava pool outside the main hall, which was originally prepared for others. He only had time to let out a scream.

Benzaro, a rotting, staggering Benzarro, is leading a horde of mutated monsters in an attempt to infect the city's last survivor camp.

The White-Haired Ben is engaged in firefight with the local Plumbers corps.

He deactivated his [XLR8] form and reverted to his black-clad youth. Not even a speck of dust remained on the hem of his trench coat.

"All done?" Gwen looked up and checked the time.

From the time Jiang Li left until he returned, it took less than five minutes in total.

"Just a few headless flies without a leader."

Jiang Li casually tossed the three discarded watch faces he had confiscated from the evil variant into a corner like trash.

He looked up at the holographic screen.

All the red lights had been completely extinguished, and the timeline and spatial nodes of the Multiverse had returned to a stable green. The "Evil Variant Alliance" summoned by the Clockwork was completely uprooted by Jiang Li single-handedly in just half a day.

Jiang Li waved his hand.

Jiang Li turned to look at Gwen, his gaze softening.

"Now, the mess here has been cleaned up."

Jiang Li took Gwen's hand, their fingers intertwined.

"Gwen, for a long time to come, we won't be bothered by any cosmic destruction or mutated monsters."

Jiang Li pressed the edge of the dial, and a blue portal leading to an unknown dimension slowly opened, exuding a warm feeling of sunlight and sea breeze.

Gwen leaned on Jiang Li's shoulder, her smile bright.

The two smiled at each other and walked side by side into the sunlit blue portal.

In the Void Fortress, only Professor Paradox remained, watching their departing figures and smiling with satisfaction.
