Diamond Sky!

Countless massive meteorites and spaceship wreckage, trailing fiery tails, were drawn together by the Power Stone and transformed into an apocalyptic rain of fire, hurtling towards bustling Manhattan. Shadows blanketed the land, and an atmosphere of despair gripped everyone's throats.

"It's over... How can we defend against an attack of this scale?"

Spider-Man Peter Parker stared at the meteor shower that covered the entire block overhead, his face turning deathly pale beneath his mask. Even for a superhero, this kind of area-of-effect attack was completely beyond his capabilities.

"Form defensive formation!!" Captain America roared hoarsely, raising his shield to try and create some space for the civilians behind him to survive, but he also knew that in the face of this devastating kinetic energy, even the Vibranium Shield could not protect many people.

Just when everyone thought New York was about to be reduced to ruins.

Look over there!

Tony Stark's voice trembled slightly.

In the center of the battlefield, the black-haired boy who had just broken free of his fusion form was now enveloped in a dazzling yellow-green light.

"Omnitrix, Diamondhead!

A burst of light!

Jiang Li, transformed into the Diamondhead, let out a crisp, cold laugh. He stomped his feet hard on the ground, plunged his hands into the asphalt, and his crystal-generating cells began to multiply wildly.

"Get up!!"

Rumble--!!!

The earth began to tremble violently.

Centered on Jiang Li, countless incredibly thick, cyan diamond pillars burst forth from the ground! They grew wildly, spread, and intertwined, weaving a massive, thick, and crystal-clear Diamond Sky above the streets of New York in just a few seconds!

This is not just a diamond; it's one of the hardest substances in the universe— Titan Crystal.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The next second, a rain of meteorites slammed into the enormous Diamond Sky.

The deafening impact caused everyone to cover their ears in pain. Sparks flew everywhere, and debris flew in all directions. The meteorites, powerful enough to destroy buildings, shattered and exploded into countless burning fragments the moment they hit the Titan Crystal.

The seemingly crystal-clear shield, aside from scattering countless Mars, remained completely still!

Not even a single crack!

A few minutes later, the last meteorite turned to ashes.

The Diamond Sky still stands tall

"Call..."

Jiang Li pulled out his hands, controlling the Diamond Sky to dissipate. He slowly straightened up, looked at Thanos opposite him who was unharmed but had a gloomy face, and provocatively patted his smooth diamond forehead, making a crisp "ding-ding" sound.

"How about it, Purple Sweet Potato Spirit? Isn't it much harder than your rotten rock?"

Thanos stared at the massive Crystal fortress before him, a deep sense of dread finally appearing in his purple eyes.

First there was the Feedback that could absorb the Power Stone, then the fusion monster that could withstand two Power Gems, and now this absolute defense that can withstand orbital bombardment...

This Earthling is a variable.

A huge variable that could threaten his "destiny".

"You are indeed very hard."

Thanos gripped the Infinity Gauntlet tightly, the Power Stone and the Space Stone simultaneously blazing with blinding light. He didn't want to waste any more time; he had to finish this quickly and obtain the Time Stone.

"But in this universe, nothing is unbreakable!"

Boom!

Thanos suddenly charged out, carrying the destructive energy of the two Infinity Stones running at full power, and punched Jiang Li.

"Snap!!"

This time, the indestructible diamond arm finally let out a mournful cry. Countless cracks spread wildly from Thanos's fist, and Jiang Li was blasted away.

Thanos broke through the defenses and went straight for Doctor Strange!

"Master! Give it to me!"

"Don't even think about it!"

Jiang Li, who was blasted away, reacted extremely quickly. He clapped his hands together, and the flying diamond fragments instantly obeyed his command, transforming into countless sharp diamond knives that rained down on Thanos's eyes, throat, and joints.

"Get out of here!"

Thanos roared, and the Power Stone unleashed a purple shockwave that shattered all the diamond knives. But his advance was also abruptly halted.

In that instant of stalemate...

"The Images of Ikonn!"

Doctor Strange finally completed his spell.

With a flicker of his body, he instantly created thousands upon thousands of clones. Countless magical red whips, like crimson pythons, coiled around Thanos's limbs and torso from all directions.

"I'll help too!" Spider-Man shot out a powerful web that stuck to Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet.

"Friday, full power!" Tony's nanotech armor transformed into massive suction cups on his feet, locking them firmly to the ground, while the thrusters on his hands and back pushed Thanos's back with all their might, trying to restrict his movements.

Captain America and the Winter Soldier rushed up and hugged Thanos's leg.

"Well done, guys! Get him under control!"

"Omnitrix, switch forms— Atomix!"

The green light flashes again!

A massive, mechanically armored giant, whose body appeared to be made of a green nuclear reactor, appeared in the center of the battlefield. The reactor on his chest emitted a high-frequency hum like a turbine engine, and the surrounding air distorted due to radiant heat.

"Nuclear Energy... The Winner!!"

"Fissile Whistle!!"

Boom--!!!

A thick, green beam of nuclear energy, carrying the terrifying heat and impact of nuclear fission, slammed into Thanos's chest, rendering him unable to move!

"Ughhhh!!"

Even Titan's indestructible body roared in pain after taking a direct hit from a nuclear explosion. His golden armor shattered instantly, his purple skin turned charred black, and he was blasted away like a cannonball, crashing through ten city blocks before finally slamming into an abandoned factory, creating a small mushroom cloud.

Smoke and dust billowed.

The Avengers, panting, released their grip.

"Did we... win?" the Spider-Man asked cautiously.

"It's not that easy." Jiang Li deactivated his transformation, staring gravely at the distant ruins. "That guy's health bar is thicker than Hulk's."

A few seconds later, a blue portal opened above the ruins.

Thanos staggered out of the door. He was in a terrible state, covered in blood, and the Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand was emitting smoke.

But he didn't rush over again.

His purple eyes gazed intently at Jiang Li, then at the heavily protected Doctor Strange.

Reason told him that in his current state, even if he desperately tried to obtain the Time Stone, it would be difficult to escape unscathed. The Earth's defenses far exceeded his intelligence estimates, and if he didn't gather the other stones (Reality, Soul Stone, Mind Stone), he might lose here.

"Earthling... Jiang Li."

Thanos remembered that name.

"You've won this round. But fate... cannot be defied."

"I will return. When you see all the stars go out, that will be the end."

The blue Space Stone shone brightly, instantly enveloping Thanos's mangled body.

"Trying to run?! No way!" Tony tried to rush after him.

However, the portal closed much faster than his flight speed.

In the blink of an eye, Thanos vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a devastated New York street and a group of bewildered superheroes.

The battle is temporarily over.

"Call..."

Doctor Strange dispelled his clone, plopped down on the ground, his face pale. "He's gone."

"They were driven away," Jiang Li corrected, glancing at the Omnitrix, whose energy was almost depleted.

"But he will come back." Steve Rogers picked up the shield, his eyes resolute. "And next time, he will bring an army from the entire universe."

"Then let him do it."

Jiang Li turned around and looked at his teammates who had just fought side by side.

"Next time, we'll go to his lair and find him. The initiative is now in our hands."

"But before that..."

Jiang Li touched her belly and looked at Wang beside her.

"Do you still have that tuna sandwich?"
