Ice Bear Soul Spirit! Saving Lives!
A moment later, inside the cave.
Ye Hua and Sky Dream Ice Silkworm stood on either side of Oscar, their spiritual power probing into his body and guiding the flow of Snow Tuan's Soul Power.
Snow Tuan lay prone in front of Oscar, its snow-white fur shimmering with light.
His body was becoming transparent, like ice and snow being exposed to sunlight.
"Little brother," Snow Tuan said, "I'll become your Soul Spirit, so don't let me get trapped in your Soul Ring!"
"At least let me come out for some fresh air on ordinary days, and let me stretch my muscles more during battles!"
Oscar nodded emphatically, "Great!"
As the Soul Spirit fusion was nearing its end, the Old Bear looked on with envy.
This human is a subordinate of the Auspicious Beast; following him is equivalent to following the Auspicious Beast, and perhaps in the future, we can truly break through the shackles of life and death.
Unfortunately, they're too old; their Soul Ring age limit will overwhelm that kid!
The last ray of golden light pierced Oscar's chest.
Oscar shuddered, his Soul Power surging instantly!
It stopped right there at level 52!
"Done!" Sky Dream Ice Silkworm put down her hand.
Oscar opened his eyes and looked down at his Soul Ring.
"Snow Tuan?" Oscar called out tentatively.
"I'm here!" Snow Tuan's voice came from the Soul Ring.
Oscar took a deep breath and bowed deeply to Ye Hua and the others.
"Teacher Ye," Oscar summoned the dark green sausage, "My fifth Soul Skill is the Super Extreme Dark Green Sausage!"
"It can comprehensively enhance all attributes of the user by 30% for the duration of an incense stick burning, but will leave the user weak for three days, which can be considered the price for overdrawing their Soul Power."
"Thirty percent?" Sky Dream Ice Silkworm nodded. "That's quite a lot!"
"Not bad," the Old Bear praised, "We Far North Icefield Bear unleash our life-burning power in the most critical moments; it seems your Soul Skill originates from that."
Ye Hua patted Oscar on the shoulder, "Let's go, let's set off."
The destination, naturally, is the depths of the forest.
The Ice Saint King's treasure might be fake.
But the aura of the Snow Empress cannot be faked!
Oscar turned to Old Bear and said, "Thank you all for your help!"
Old Bear simply smiled and said, "I only hope that the Soul Spirit Method will spread throughout the continent as soon as possible, so that we won't be bothered by the Soul Hunting Group every year."
Oscar bowed again.
After bidding farewell to the Far North Icefield Bear Tribe, the three stepped back into the snowfield.
The cold wind was even stronger than when it arrived, blowing the accumulated snow into flowing white streams, and visibility plummeted.
Oscar was wrapped tightly in a fur coat, his lips turning purple.
Seeing this, Snow Tuan simply used her Soul Power to dispel the chill that was rushing towards Oscar.
"Huh?" Oscar was stunned.
He felt a continuous flow of heat emanating from his body, making him much more resistant to the cold than when he arrived.
"Is this the benefit of Soul Spirit?" he asked, somewhat surprised.
"Hmph," Snow Tuan scoffed, "Those are just petty tricks."
"I am an ice elemental Soul Beast. If I can't even control the cold, am I a useless piece of trash?"
Oscar was secretly delighted.
This is only for warding off the cold; what if it were used to aid in combat?
Once the team works together well, his combat power, a rare trait among support-type Soul Master, will increase significantly!
After advancing for about half an hour, intermittent sounds could be faintly heard from the snow and fog ahead.
Ye Hua paused, "Someone's there?"
"There are still people in this godforsaken place!" Sky Dream Ice Silkworm frowned.
"It looks like Veya?" Ye Hua frowned. "Follow her!"
Without saying a word, Oscar took off running.
The wind and snow intensified, and the razor-sharp ice pellets stung my face.
Both Ye Hua and Oscar are physically strong, but the puppet inhabited by the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm cannot withstand any hardship.
Helpless, he had no choice but to ask Ye Hua to put away the puppet, and he returned to his Soul Ring to wait quietly.
"Front!"
Ye Hua suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Ahead lay a sheer cliff, smoothed by wind and snow. In the lower middle section, two figures were clinging desperately to the rock face.
Hote channeled his Soul Power, and the phantom of his Martial Soul Snow-Soul Demon Bear, appeared faintly behind him.
That rough right hand was embedded directly into the ice, the knuckles were red from the excessive force, and the whole arm was trembling violently.
His left hand was tightly gripping Veya!
Veya was suspended in mid-air, with her feet more than 20 feet below the bottom of the cliff. If she fell, she would be crippled even if she didn't die.
"Uncle Hote," Veya's voice was broken by the wind, "Let go!"
Hote remained unmoved.
But anyone could see that he wouldn't last long.
His Soul Power was being consumed rapidly, and the light of his Martial Soul gradually dimmed.
Even the ten fingers dug into the ice were bleeding!
Veya had no choice but to keep opening her mouth.
"Help--me--!"
Ye Hua narrowed his eyes slightly, Yinglong Wings.
With a single descent, it pulled the two of them off the cliff.
"Phew..." Hote slumped onto the snow.
His hands were still spasming uncontrollably, and blood was seeping between his fingers.
Veya was in slightly better condition than him, but she was also pale and could only lean against the nearby rock, barely able to catch her breath.
"Thank you..." Veya gasped, "Thank you for saving my life!"
Ye Hua waved his hand and squatted down to examine Hote's injuries.
"My hand isn't broken, but it needs a rest." Ye Hua turned to Oscar, "Give me a sausage."
Oscar nodded quickly, "Super Invincible Great Sausage!"
"Eating it can speed up recovery."
Hote's lips twitched when he heard Oscar's Soul Skill incantation.
After hesitating for half a second, I took the sausage and ate it in one gulp.
The warmth spread, and the wound on my hand quickly scabbed over.
"Thank you!" Hote a long sigh of relief, leaning back against the rock, his expression still not very good.
"How did you get trapped up there?" Ye Hua asked.
Veya bit her lip, her eyes slightly red.
"We... we've encountered Snow Tree Demon."
"Another Snow Tree Demon?" Sky Dream Ice Silkworm raised an eyebrow.
"It wasn't just one," Veya's shoulders trembled, "It was a whole flock, so many I couldn't count them all!"
"They burst out from under the snow like madmen, attacking anyone they saw..."
"Our team scattered instantly," Hote shook his head. "Almost no one had time to react before they were killed."
He gritted his teeth, as if suppressing his frustration.
"Veya was close by, so I only had time to escape with her!"
"The others... remained in the snow and mist..."
Ye Hua looked at Hote's hands; dark red icicles still clung to his knuckles.
To be able to persevere under such circumstances demonstrates a willpower far exceeding that of ordinary people.
"What do you plan to do now?"
Hote said in a muffled voice, "I want to keep going."
"Uncle!" Veya exclaimed anxiously, "The group has already broken up, are you still going deeper into the area?"
"That's why we need to go even more." Hote's tone was calm. "They all have families and need this money for the rest of their lives."
"Veya, you go back first."
Ye Hua raised an eyebrow. "Your Soul Power is almost completely depleted. Going in alone will mean certain death."
"Then I have no choice but to go," Hote said with a wry smile. "I have already let down the families of the team members. If I go back now, I won't be able to face them."
"Teacher Ye..." Oscar hesitated, then stopped himself.
