Xia Yan vs. Thundurus

Thundurus!

Thundurus was clearly not quite right at the moment.

Neither Hunter S nor Xia Yan had expected Thundurus to suddenly appear.

Already at a disadvantage, Hunter S had now practically confirmed Xia Yan's identity through Snorlax and Bewear.

He shouted, "N! We need to join forces and try to get Meloetta to wake Thundurus up, or I'll become an example for you to learn from."

His expression was solemn, his earlier contempt and arrogance gone.

But the flickering light deep in his eyes showed that these were not entirely his sincere thoughts.

"Thundurus—!!"

Yet Thundurus gave them no time to discuss matters.

Terrifying blue electricity erupted from its body as a powerful current swept toward every Pokémon.

Hunter S received no response from Xia Yan. Taking advantage of the brief daze Beedrill and the others fell into due to Thundurus's appearance, Nidoking broke free of the encirclement and reached Hunter S's side.

All the current Thundurus sent sweeping through the area was absorbed by Nidoking.

As a Ground-type Pokémon, Nidoking should have been immune to the damage caused by Electric-type moves.

But Thundurus's Electric-type moves were beyond anything ordinary Electric-type Pokémon could compare to.

While absorbing the current, Nidoking inevitably suffered some damage as well.

That was how its injuries had been caused.

Meanwhile.

Hydreigon's actions were far fiercer than Nidoking's.

Its Dragon Tail swung out, the terrifying force it carried sending Alolan Muk on the ground flying.

The already weakened Alolan Muk took the attack from Thundurus's Discharge head-on.

"Roar—!!"

An angry roar.

Hydreigon refused to be outdone and roared back
