Quarrel

Three days had passed since Kushina's abduction.

Over those three days, Kushina, as the person involved, had pulled herself together.

And as expected, her relationship with Minato had grown closer. Though they did not look inseparable, clinging to each other every day.

But Feng Xun keenly noticed that his tsundere boss lady had stopped calling Minato a girly boy.

But that was not the most important thing. What mattered was that he had discovered his brother had not come home last night.

What was going on?

Could it be that Kushina had already let his brother take her first time? But they were both only ten years old. They should not have gotten to third base that quickly, right?!

"Xun? Xun?"

Feeling his body being vigorously shaken, Feng Xun came back to his senses.

"Xun, do you still feel uncomfortable anywhere?" Minato stared at him with a worried expression.

Having regained his senses, Feng Xun shook his head, then quickly pulled his brother aside. Pointing at the red-faced Kushina behind them, he asked, "Brother, tell me honestly. What did you and Boss Lady do last night? And why is Boss Lady at our house now?"

Minato blinked, then his face suddenly turned red as well.

What the hell was with that reaction, Brother? You were still kids. You could not be this impure.

With that thought, Feng Xun's eyes unconsciously drifted downward again.

Did children in the Naruto World develop this early now? His little buddy was still a soft, caterpillar-like thing, yet Brother Minato, who was only three years older than him, had already become an Adamantine Staff.

While Feng Xun was still letting his imagination run wild, Minato stammered, "Xun, what do you think about letting Father and Mother meet Kushina?"

"?"

Feng Xun was somewhat confused.

As if he had seen his younger brother's bewilderment, Minato explained, "Didn't the news say that Amegakure had won a great victory and that the ninja troops would return today?"

Feng Xun nodded, but he still did not see what the two things had to do with each other.

"Well, Kushina called me over yesterday and said she wanted to meet our parents." As soon as Minato finished speaking, Feng Xun's eyes widened.

Putting together Minato's earlier reaction and Kushina's current appearance, Feng Xun could barely process it. "Could it be that you stayed out all night just to discuss this with Boss Lady?"

Minato nodded. "Isn't Kushina always insecure about the color of her hair? So she was afraid—afraid that Father and Mother would dislike how she looked."

"I had no choice but to keep comforting her. By the time I came back to my senses, it was already dawn."

"So you did not do any of those naughty things last night?" After hearing that, Feng Xun confirmed once more.

"Naughty things? What are those?" Minato did not understand what his younger brother meant.

Feng Xun did not feel like explaining. Instead, he said directly, "Don't worry, Brother. I guarantee on my honor that Dad and Mom will definitely like her as their daughter-in-law."

Minato's face flushed bright red again. "S-she is not my daughter-in-law. We are just having her meet them normally."

"Oh? So you do not want to marry Boss Lady?"

Feng Xun curled his lips. Ignoring his brother's attempt to explain, he raised his voice again. "Boss Lady, Brother has something to tell you."

"Xun, wait..." Minato suddenly panicked. Unfortunately, before he could stop him, Kushina approached with a faint blush on her face and asked, "What? What does Minato want to say?"

Faced with Kushina's question, Minato shook his head in panic. "N-no, it is not what you think, Kushina. Listen to me, it is... it is..."

"?" Kushina tilted her head, unable to understand what Minato had been babbling about for so long.

Unable to watch any longer, Feng Xun said bluntly, "Boss Lady, Brother Minato just said he wants you to be his wife."

"Hm?" Kushina finally reacted after a long moment, and her face instantly turned even redder. Then, before Feng Xun could prepare himself, she punched him in the face.

The farce in the Namikaze Household continued, but the newly built Hokage Office was filled with fierce argument.

"Sarutobi! You are still this stubborn. Has this incident not woken you up yet?" Danzo repeatedly tapped his fingers against the desk, his voice impatient.

"Danzo, how can you speak to Lord Hokage with that attitude?!"

Utatane Koharu could no longer stand by and watch.

"That is right, Danzo. Sarutobi is the Hokage now. You should put that attitude away," Mitokado Homura added.

"What is wrong with my attitude? I am seriously questioning whether Sarutobi has what it takes to be Hokage. The Nine-Tails Jinchūriki is an important strategic weapon of the village, yet he nearly handed her over to the people of Hidden Cloud."

"This is not Sarutobi's fault," Utatane Koharu argued.

"Heh, then whose fault do you think it is?" Danzo sneered as he looked at his former friend.

"This..." Utatane Koharu was at a loss for words. After all, the fact that the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki had nearly been abducted was undeniable.

"Enough, Danzo. I understand your concerns very well, but I will absolutely not agree to hand Kushina over to Root," Hiruzen Sarutobi refused decisively.

"You should know that because of our actions, Kushina has borne the identity of the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki since childhood. That child has already suffered enough. I will never allow you to erase her humanity."

"Heh." Danzo smiled disdainfully. "Without Root's surveillance, can you guarantee that the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki will not be abducted again? And as long as you hand her over to me, I guarantee that I can train her into an outstanding ninja."

Hiruzen Sarutobi said nothing further. The office became tense, as if swords had been drawn.

Seeing this, Utatane Koharu hurriedly tried to smooth things over. "All right, all right. Orochimaru and the others will be back soon. Let us stop discussing this matter and go welcome them at the village entrance first."

"Hmph, forget it! I have matters to attend to. You can go yourselves!" With that, Danzo stormed out of the Hokage Office.

Utatane Koharu glanced at the Third Hokage, who made no attempt to stop him, and sighed. She said nothing more.
