Background / History

Minato is Feng Xun's older brother and a member of the Namikaze household. He attended the Ninja Academy alongside Kushina, where he was recognized as the strongest student in his class before facing Uchiha Ryu in the graduation examination. 1 4 5

During the exam, Minato analyzed Uchiha Ryu's Two-Tomoe Sharingan after only a few exchanges, identifying its dynamic vision and copying abilities. He then overcame it through speed too fast for the Sharingan to follow, winning with Konoha Rising Wind and Konoha Whirlwind. 6 7 He later fought Kushina in the final match, where her strength as the Nine-Tails' Jinchūriki forced him to rely on mobility, substitution, and unconventional tactics. 7 8
