Background / History

Creation and cosmic position

The Primordial World is the central main world of the Myriad Heavens and Ten Thousand Realms, positioned above great worlds such as the Journey to the West World. The powerful beings active within lesser worlds are described as incarnations, while their true bodies exist in the Highest World. 300

Its creation follows the cycle of Primordial Chaos: Chaos and the Great Dao nurture three thousand Great Daos; those Daos become Demon Gods; and Pangu slays them before opening Heaven and Earth. The three thousand Great Daos then take root as the world’s Heaven and Earth, from which the Heavenly Dao emerges. 353

Lich-Demon Tribulation

Ye Zhuo enters the Primordial World during the Lich-Demon Tribulation under the Destiny Daoist template. Although he begins as an Innate Demon God, his existing physique, Primordial Spirit, and Dao arts rapidly exceed the template’s original level. 328

At this point, the Human Clan is weak and requires protection, resources, and cultivation guidance. Ye Zhuo accepts Sui Ren as a disciple, passes down the Great Firmament Heavenly Immortal Technique, constructs formations for humanity, and awakens Fuxi’s memories to gain his assistance. 330

Rise of the Human Clan

Under Ye Zhuo’s guidance, the Human Clan unites its scattered settlements and claims roughly one-third of the eastern Primordial World. Witch Clan and Demon Clan tribes withdraw from the region, while Ye Zhuo’s formations extend across Human Clan territory from Mount Buzhou and the Human Sovereign Palace. 351

Ye Zhuo later merges with the Great Firmament Heavenly Immortal Dao to protect the Human Clan and conceal it from the wider Primordial World. The Divine Tortoise’s body is divided to form the Human Realm and a divination treasure for humanity. 357

Human Clan powerhouses use the Journey to the West World—placed within the Human Realm—as a high-speed cultivation ground. Over successive reincarnation cycles, figures such as Xuanyuan, Shennong, and Yu the Great lead humanity’s expansion against the Witch Clan, Dragon Clan, and other powers. 359 360 364

Human Clan Primordial World

Ye Zhuo eventually takes control of the Primordial World’s main world and replaces the Heavenly Dao with the Great Firmament Heavenly Immortal Dao. He then enters a slumber while the Human Clan becomes the dominant race throughout the Myriad Heavens and Ten Thousand Realms. 380

Human Clan Sages later open routes through Chaos, establish successive Heavenly Emperors, and oversee entire eras from the Human Sovereign Palace, Heavenly Court, and Netherworld. The Primordial World becomes known as the Human Clan Primordial World. 380

Epoch Calamity

During the Epoch Calamity, the World-Destroying Millstone annihilates world after world before reaching the Primordial World. The Human Realm is also destroyed despite being considered a refuge for Sages. 382

After Ye Zhuo erases the millstone, he crosses into Primordial Chaos to await rebirth. Chaos again gives rise to the three thousand Great Daos and Demon Gods, culminating in Pangu’s opening of a new Heaven and Earth. 383

The Primordial World’s cultivation environment is significantly more potent than that of the Journey to the West World. Its purer and more ancient spiritual energy enables higher limits simply through cultivation within the world. 290

Systems and transmigrators

The Primordial World is considered a forbidden zone for systems. Ordinary systems become ineffective from the Great Firmament Golden Immortal realm onward, while powerful local cultivators can identify and eliminate anomalous transmigrators. 338

Journey to the West World

Ye Zhuo refines the Journey to the West World into the Human Realm as a training ground. Its accelerated time allows cultivators to undergo innumerable calamities and reincarnation cycles while only a comparatively short time passes outside. 359

The world contains nine Sage positions. Those who become its Sages may ascend to the Human Realm as Peak Quasi-Saint-level beings, lacking only Primordial Purple Qi. 359
