• Lu Ren and Sun Wukong reached Thick Earth’s remains, where Lu Ren trained in Chaotic Celestial Light and learned Sun Wukong sought the weapon with which he had attained the Dao.

With the Heavenly Palace and Spirit Mountain set to return in ten years, Lu Ren searched other realms for power and traveled to the Big Dipper. There he established a small universe within his Inner World and condensed Ancestral Witch Bloodline, then faced a mysterious golden lightning strike.

• Lu Ren killed Bai Sheng and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, learned that the Heavenly Palace and Spirit Mountain were bound for the Boundless Land, and discovered they would return in ten years.
• Lu Ren and Zhang Tongxuan prepared China to leave Earth while Lu Ren searched for a faster path to the Earth Immortal Realm, and he helped Guo Muyang form a Fate Core before she refused to leave with him.
• Lu Ren entered the Shrouding Heavens Exotic Domain, joined the Wu Guard Bureau in Jiao City, and clashed with the Ghost Mask Woman, who was the Ruthless Great Emperor.

Lu Ren returned from the Shrouding Heavens World as the Heavenly Court came back to Earth, then fought the Jade Emperor and Tathagata while an Outer God threatened reality. The battle revealed Hantu, a hidden World Cosmos, and Lu Ren agreed to a ceasefire as he sought a way inside.

• Lu Ren defeated the Emperor's Mark, killed Duan Gong, and secluded himself on a barren planet before returning to the present and sensing an unknown existence pursuing him through history.
• Lu Ren helped send five hundred thousand people aboard Wu Cha toward Andromeda, then joined Zhang Tongxuan and the Dragon Tiger Mountain immortals to face the Heavenly Court's return.
