Background

Bai Ze was reborn from an egg on Kunlun Mountain as an Innate Divine born from the resonance of Innate Pure Qi and mysterious laws. His reincarnated memories include a previous life as an ordinary corporate worker, as well as Bai Ze's future history in the Primordial World. 1

In those remembered events, Bai Ze served Di Jun and Donghuang Taiyi during the Lich Tribulation, helped unify demon factions and establish the Heavenly Court, then suffered crippling injuries while covering Lu Ya's escape. He later burned his cultivation and essence blood to write the Classic of Bai Ze for the Yellow Emperor, dying in battle and becoming reviled by the demon race despite his sacrifice. 1

Determined not to repeat that fate, Bai Ze resolves to avoid needless karma, cultivate independently, and pursue Force-Proving Dao rather than becoming entangled in the struggles of major factions. 1
