After leaving Professor Trelawney's office, the two of them ran straight into Lupin.

Perhaps because Dumbledore did not quite trust Kane to obediently go to Lupin and learn the Patronus Charm as he had been told.

So he had specifically sought Lupin out and asked him to take the initiative to teach Kane the Patronus Charm.

Now that an opportunity to learn a new spell was right in front of him, did that even need saying? Of course he had to seize it.

As for Professor Trelawney's spell, which would probably outlive him...

Anyway, the next lesson would have to wait until the full moon in October, so there was no rush.

After all, in Kane's mind, no matter how difficult a spell was, it could not possibly be harder than memorizing a book.

The Defense Against the Dark Arts office now belonged to Lupin. Gilderoy Lockhart's gaudy, flashy decor had been replaced with something practical and restrained.

The entire office was divided into two sections. Upstairs was Lupin's personal living area, while downstairs had a small office corner, with the rest serving as a spell-practice space.

Kane and Harry were learning the so-called Patronus Charm from Lupin in that space. But clearly, not to mention Harry, Kane's talent for the Patronus Charm was rather lacking.

After seeing Harry produce a silvery-white mist, Lupin turned back toward Kane, the persistent problem. Still, compared to before, there had at least been a tiny bit of progress.

He had gone from no reaction at all to a few faint silver-white sparks. Even so, the awkward sight left Lupin scratching his head
