Diagon Alley...
Kane and the other two landed in a deserted little alley. They hadn't needed to do that before.
That was because Kane's and Harry's brooms had both been handmade, and most people had no idea what they were actually worth.
But the Firebolt Ron was riding was currently on the cover of Flying Broom Magazine. If he landed openly in Diagon Alley on that thing, who knew how many people would fix their eyes on him.
Even the Weasley family's red hair might not protect him. After all, someone could snatch the broom and flee abroad, and the Weasley family might not actually chase them overseas to kill them.
After all, it was only a broom.
Kane took off his hat and stuffed all three brooms inside it. The three of them then headed toward Ollivander's wand shop.
And then came the same old story...
They were recognized.
