Background / History
Ron first meets Kane at the Leaky Cauldron, where he witnesses Kane subdue Harry with inborn shadow magic. Rather than reporting him, Ron reacts with open amazement and expresses a desire to learn the magic himself, prompting immediate disapproval from his mother and brothers. 11
