In the Forbidden Forest, Kane experimented for a long time and finally succeeded in shrinking the magic that could shatter half of Hogwarts' windows into a mushroom cloud small enough to fit inside a campsite.
After another afternoon of practice, he successfully shrank the mushroom cloud to the size of a person, turning a group A0E into noble single-target damage.
That way, if any onlookers were watching, he wouldn't have to worry about accidentally hurting them.
Unlike the unparalleled satisfaction in his heart, his stomach felt just a little empty.
In short... he was hungry.
He took off his top hat and rummaged through it. Nothing.
