"Uh... Kane, what state of mind were you in when you made these things?" Harry said, staring at the nauseating tentacles and feeling his stomach churn.
These tentacles were completely different from the ones that had killed the Troll in the abandoned bathroom last time. It was like Voldemort standing before you—you could tell that the Voldemort in front of you was incredibly dangerous.
But if you turned that Voldemort inside out, you would discover that the thing was fucking not human.

"Kane, are you really human right now?" Hermione asked, taking several steps back with a horrified expression.
"What else would I be? Would you believe me if I told you I escaped from Area 51?"
"Honestly, I kind of believe it." Harry and Hermione nodded bitterly, while Ron shook his head with a baffled look.
He did not understand. He understood absolutely nothing.
Just as Kane and the others were about to continue deeper inside, Hermione cleared her throat.
"Wait, are we really going to keep going? Our original purpose was just to have Kane tell Professor Dumbledore that someone might be after the Philosopher's Stone."
"We're already here." Kane shrugged. That was true enough. Since they had gone to all the trouble of coming down here, he might as well Eternal Continent-ify all the obstacles. When the time came to get close and personal with Voldemort, at least he would have home-field advantage. Maybe he would even get some kind of planar bonus.
"But..." Hermione wanted to say more, but a vicious snore came from the trapdoor in the ceiling.
"That dog woke up?" Ron suddenly realized, saying excitedly, "Then we really can't get out now. We should keep exploring."
