Molly Weasley Is a Good Person, I'm Coming with You!

"What? Of course not!" Molly Weasley's instant shock at Kane's words was, in Kane's eyes, no less than the expression she would have worn upon learning that Ron had used a cauldron to make a pot of water-injected meatballs in Potions class, then, unable to endure Snape's trash talk, knocked out two of Snape's teeth in extreme fury—and used those two teeth to make a pair of wedding rings, tricking a daughter-in-law into joining the Weasley family.

Just as Molly Weasley was about to continue lecturing him, Kane took out Gilderoy Lockhart's VIP card first.

"Mrs. Weasley, it's not actually my money. I recently met a very wealthy friend, and this is his VIP card here. He's the kind of person who wouldn't care no matter how much was spent."

Molly Weasley still held firmly to her principles. "No, Kane. Even if it isn't your money, we won't spend it. And you shouldn't give us a gift your friend gave you. That wouldn't be fair to your friend."

Kane pursed his lips into a W and held out against Molly Weasley for two minutes. In the end, Molly Weasley won. Before long, Ginny Weasley was wearing a brand-new yet plain robe, her eyes filled with both delight and regret.

Soon, it was Kane's turn. He pulled a huge pile of tentacle hide from Little Pumpkin's mouth and handed it all to Madam Malkin. "This is all of it. I'd like to use these hides to make a raincoat that can grow according to my size."

"Mm, overall, that won't be a problem, dear." Madam Malkin picked up the hides and prepared to head into the workroom, while Molly Weasley walked over and invited Kane.

Come to think of it, this was the second time. Ron's invitation last time had not
