Shisui was an elite Uchiha jōnin who possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan, Fire Release, and the Body Flicker Technique. He believed the growing conflict between Konoha and the Uchiha could be resolved through communication, unaware that Danzō had already targeted his eyes. 4

At age thirteen, Shisui excavated a seventeen-meter covert route from the Forest of Death to a Root interrogation room by alternating Wind and Earth Release. His familiarity with Root techniques and passageways later becomes crucial to the campaign against Danzō. 45
