His mission history repeatedly overlaps with Root strongholds, while the joint Anbu–Root Uchiha Clan Surveillance Plan carries the operational codename Crow 26.

As the conflict surrounding the Uchiha escalates, Danzo uses Sasuke's safety to pressure Itachi and positions him as the planned executor of the clan's annihilation. The Genocide Contingency Plan names “Crow” as executor and specifically exempts Sasuke 31.

Root Surveillance and Secret Assistance

After observing Lin Feng and Shisui together without exposing them, Itachi’s position becomes increasingly uncertain 20. He warns Lin Feng not to interfere with the Uchiha’s Sharingan inheritance, but also removes Root’s medicinal residue from the drainage outlet and reveals fractures within Anbu command 25.
