Pain's Assault and Five Kage Summit Arc

Under Tsunade's overwhelming pressure, the Monster Strength Brothers fled back to prison like two terrified rats. This sudden crisis was finally resolved through Tsunade's thunderous methods.

In the second part of Naruto: Shippuden, Ino Yamanaka's appearance had not changed much. She had merely removed the bandages wrapped around her body, letting her waterfall-like long hair fall down her back once more. Her bangs slightly covered her right eye, adding a hint of mystery to her. Ino also wore a red hair clip, as though adding a touch of color to her appearance. Her outfit had changed as well, replaced by a purple midriff-baring top that showed off her lovely figure perfectly.

Like most ninja from her generation, Ino had successfully been promoted to chunin after a period of growth. Now, she often looked after her family's flower shop, enjoying its peace and tranquility.

One day, Asuma had become angry over something involving Choji and decided to find him for an explanation. When he arrived at Choji's house, he found Choji with Shikamaru. Choji hurriedly explained that they had encountered a strange person who had attacked them, which was why they were there. After hearing this, Asuma decided to search for that strange person with them.

While they were searching everywhere, Ino suddenly spotted Naruto standing on a nearby rooftop and waving at them. It turned out that Team 7 had just completed a mission and happened to be passing through.

The members of Team 10 were delighted to see Team 7 arrive. Ino especially noticed Team 7's new member, Sai, at once. Sai looked very much like Sasuke, and this made Ino deeply interested in him, leaving her with a few favorable feelings toward him.

Wanting to discuss an important matter with Kakashi, Asuma decided to send everyone else away.
