Amid the smoke and flames of the Second Shinobi World War, Amegakure seemed to have been swallowed by darkness, tightly shrouded in the shadow of war. The villagers lived in endless fear and chaos, facing the threat of death every day.

Konan, a child who should have grown up happily under her parents' care, could not escape the clutches of this disaster either. Her parents tragically died in the turmoil of war, leaving Konan all alone. From then on, she lost the warmth and support of a family and began a long, arduous life of wandering.

Konan drifted from place to place with no fixed home, often wandering through streets and alleys in search of something to fill her stomach. Sometimes, she had no choice but to steal food just to survive. During that difficult journey, Konan met Yahiko and Nagato, who were just as helpless and alone. The three of them were like fallen leaves in the wind, relying on one another as they faced life's hardships together.

Yet fate did not seem to have completely abandoned the three children. By chance, they met Jiraiya in his younger days. Seeing their miserable circumstances, Jiraiya could not help but feel pity for them. He decided to take them as his disciples, offering them warmth and care and helping them out of their predicament.

During those three years, they not only learned ninjutsu, but more importantly, experienced the warmth of a home and the deep bond between master and disciples.
