Standing with his hands behind his back as he gazed upon this immortal landscape, Mu Jizi's face bore an indescribable loneliness. At this moment, his eyes drifted uncertainly, as though he could see the scenes of countless humans dying miserably across the Primordial Wilderness!
With a soft sigh, a bitter smile rose in his heart. There was a reason Saints bore the title of "human" after all. In this world, all humans had feelings. Though he was a Primordial Chaos Saint, he still could not let go of that sliver of attachment!
Yet he also understood that beneath the Heavenly Dao, such was the Heavenly Mandate. If the Human Race wished to flourish, it could never amount to much without enduring several trials! Moreover, he took all living beings under heaven as his Dao and valued balance among all creatures. As the saying went, when victory reached its peak, decline followed.
