In the images shown by the Fourteenth-Rank Azure Lotus, Yuan Tian spotted the Five Great Sacred Beasts—the Phoenix, Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, and Qilin. That struck him as strange.

On the Primordial Continent, the Five Great Sacred Beasts were hardly known for overwhelming strength. At most, they were on the level of Zenith Heaven Golden Immortals. So why did they exist in Primordial Chaos? Could the Five Great Sacred Beasts of the Primordial Wilderness be reincarnations of these five?

Yuan Tian knew the ancestors of the Primordial Wilderness's three dominant clans had inherited legacies from Primordial Chaos. He did not know whether the Five Great Sacred Beasts had such legacies too, but judging by what he was seeing, they probably did. Perhaps their legacies simply had not been "activated" yet.
