Dragon and Phoenix Take Action

(Second chapter! Got any recommendations? Give me some!!!) As mentioned in the previous chapter, the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes intended to eliminate or absorb the Hundred Tribes of the Primordial Wilderness. We would not discuss elimination for now; let us first talk about absorption.

Some might say that the Hundred Tribes of the Primordial Wilderness and the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes were practically mortal enemies. How could they possibly submit to the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes?

Anything was possible in the Primordial Wilderness. There was only what one could not imagine, never what they could not accomplish. Take submission, for example. If this were the modern age, even if the other side submitted, would you dare use them directly? Probably most people would not. But in the Primordial Wilderness, there was no such problem. There were many ways to solve it, two of them fairly straightforward. One was like the Demon Race's later Demon-Summoning Banner: forge a strange treasure and place a wisp of the person's Primordial Spirit within it. Would that not control them? The second was to swear an oath directly. The Primordial Wilderness was a world of cultivators, and every move they made was watched by the Great Dao (Heavenly Dao). As long as they swore before the Great Dao (Heavenly Dao) to serve the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes, would that not settle the matter nicely?

Of course, the above two methods were not without countermeasures. With the first method, even if someone had a portion of their Primordial Spirit controlled, given enough time, they could restore it. Then the Primordial Spirit within that strange treasure would no longer affect them. Po Hun and Yuan Tian were examples of such people. As for the second method, some people treated swearing to the Great Dao (Heavenly Dao) as casually as eating a meal. They simply did
