She fired a shot right at SCP-682's feet.
Even SCP-682 hadn't had time to react before it was blasted away.
Who knew where it had flown off to.
But that probably had nothing to do with Xiao Huasheng anymore.
Nothing to do with her.
Thinking that, she guiltily kept teleporting toward the Terra portal marked inside.
Xiao Huasheng's plan from here on out was simple.
She just wanted to settle down in Terra, live an ordinary life, and stay alive.
She had no great ambitions. She only wanted to be happy.
The greater the ability, the smaller the responsibility—that was her motto.
She had no lofty aspirations, not even a chest!
Still, the goal of living peacefully was probably quite difficult.
The fluorescent light above her head was no joke.
She would have to work at it slowly!
So where had SCP-682 gone?
Outside Earth's atmosphere, tens of thousands of meters above the ground.
The enormous lizard floated in space, its body slowly spinning as it drifted lazily deeper into the void.
It continued roaring without pause.
"Damn concrete statue! When I get back, I'll do you before and after! Stupid concrete statue!!!"
It seemed it was truly furious.
Hopefully the lizard would be fine.
Ignoring SCP-682's gradual journey toward becoming a star and standing shoulder to shoulder with Kars as an Ultimate Life Form.
Not long after, Xiao Huasheng arrived before the door marked by the computer. Beneath the flickering alarm lights of the nearly defunct Foundation, with every containment chamber door wide open.
She suddenly realized that there seemed to be something wrong with this door.
"Huh? Isn't this the weird portal I saw right after escaping? So this was the Terra portal?"
Looking at the strange scattered skeletons around the portal and the dented blue helmet, she had the feeling that she had been tricked.
But in the end, she merely shrugged and walked in.
Since it said this was Terra, it couldn't be wrong.
She would trust the computer this once.
Her figure quickly disappeared into it.
Then, she heard the first words she heard after entering the portal.
"Skulls for the Skull Throne, blood for the Blood God! Hoo-ha!!!"
A massive brass axe swung straight at her without a word.
The red-haired angel's eyes widened.
What kind of Terra was this?!!
Blast You to Pieces, Wahahaha! [1st Update]
The axe was incredibly fast, far beyond what an ordinary person's speed could block.
Xiao Huasheng could only watch helplessly as the axe chopped into her.
One hit shattered her armor! Two hits shredded her clothes! Three hits left her completely naked!
"Do I have some kind of grudge with clothes?!" she shouted, once again meeting the world in complete honesty.
At the same time, she was sent flying, smashed straight into a pile of corpses, and vanished from sight.
She fell into a heap of Khorne daemon corpses, hugged her head, and stopped moving.
The Khorne daemon noticed that the feel of his axe had been off, but seeing Xiao Huasheng lying still, he immediately became blood-crazed and began brawling with an Ork on the other side.
The steel sky was torn open by a bloody wound.
The veil of reality peeled away like rotting flesh, revealing a churning crimson vortex behind it.
The smell of sulfur and copper rust spilled out first, followed by the battle cries of countless greenskins.
"WAAAGH!!!"
A green tide swept in from the other side.
Three million feet shattered the concrete ground, while rusty metal and crude gunpowder formed a moving torrent of steel.
The Ork boss Skullshatterer Grom stood atop the kill-can he had personally modified. His single eye reflected the Khorne warriors descending from the sky, filled with excitement.
Countless Orks yearned for this endless war.
"Red humies are falling from the sky!" an Ork boy shouted excitedly. "I'm gonna twist off their heads..."
Splat.
Before he could finish.
The shriek of a bloody axe splitting the air cut him off.
That Ork's head spun into the sky, its face still frozen in wild delight.
A Khorne Berserker wielding a giant axe emerged from the blood mist. The exposed muscles beneath his brass armor were like red-hot iron, every bulge throbbing.
Behind the vanguard, even more crimson figures were squeezing out through the rift.
They came in all shapes and forms, each different from the next, but all wore the same hungry look in their eyes.
Skullshatterer bared a mouth full of fangs.
He pressed the control lever, and the multi-barreled cannon atop the kill-can began to spin.
"Fire! Fire! Blast every moving red thing into scrap! Hahahaha!!" Skullshatterer roared, the Ork boss's voice even drowning out the cannon fire.
His voice triggered something deep within the Orks' genes. Their eyes turned bloodshot, their muscles swelled, and their already massive bodies grew another size.
They no longer needed orders as they charged toward the daemon army like sewage bursting through a collapsed dam.
At the center of the battlefield, the instant the two tides collided, they became an endless meat grinder.
Whenever a Bloodletter's axe blade cut open an Ork's throat, more Orks were already tearing apart the daemon's chest with iron claws.
Both sides had completely lost themselves in slaughter.
The red-haired angel secretly wriggled across the ground, terrified of being noticed.
"What kind of damn Terra is this?!"
Xiao Huasheng muttered quietly. Hiding among the corpses, she secretly peeked outside.
What she saw was an even greater spectacle than the Foundation containing SCP-682. Everywhere she looked, close-quarters combat raged, while ammunition screamed through the sky and across the ground.
Without question, she had been dragged into a war of terrifying intensity.
[Manager, my suggestion is that there is no need to get involved in this war. It seems the company's growth is guaranteed. Why not enter Lobotomy Corporation and slowly arrange the employees and another blind-box containment item?]
Angela's voice rang out.
Honestly, a war like this was a good opportunity for them to develop.
Seeing the artillery fire filling the skies outside, Xiao Huasheng timidly nodded. "I think that sounds good too."
But clearly, the chaotic reality here would not give her that chance.
BOOM!!
A stray shell struck the very center of the corpse pile without mercy.
In the blink of an eye, the heap of corpses burst apart like a blooming blood chrysanthemum.
"Ahhhhh!"
Xiao Huasheng screamed as she was blasted straight into the air. After spinning several times, she crashed to the ground.
Her figure, her wings of light, and that halo undoubtedly became the most eye-catching sight before the greenskins and Khorne warriors.
When Xiao Huasheng was seen again, the battlefield fell into brief silence.
Both sides silently stopped fighting and watched the smoking red-haired angel slowly crawl to her feet.
After realizing she had been dragged into the very center of the battlefield.
She silently swallowed.
"I have the feeling countless eyes are staring at me."
The next second.
The battle cries of Khorne's forces and the greenskins erupted at the same time.
"Offer yourselves to the Blood God!!!"
"WAAAGH!!!"
"Ahhhhh!!"
Two different kinds of hulking brutes instantly swallowed the angel whole.
Xiao Huasheng was caught in the middle and forcibly dragged into the battle.
Before Xiao Huasheng could steady herself, the first axe came whistling toward her.
She took the blow with her head, only to be knocked off her feet by a second massive brass axe from behind.
"Wait, wait! I'm not—"
Her explanation was drowned out by the roar of clashing metal.
A Khorne Berserker's giant axe sent her flying like a golf ball, tracing an arc through the air before dropping into the Ork mob.
The greenskins let out excited howls as five crude choppas swung down at once.
"WAAAGH!"
They sent her flying on the spot.
But before she had flown three meters, the tentacle of a daemon engine struck her waist like a billiard cue.
With a muffled bang, she crashed through two broken walls like a cannonball, carving a ten-meter trench through the rubble.
"Cough, cough, cough." She spat the sand from her mouth, and then her pupils suddenly contracted.
Another brass axe from a Khorne daemon came chopping down at her head.
At last, Xiao Huasheng got angry. She immediately pulled out that RPG and aimed it at the Khorne daemon before her.
"You're finished!!!"
With the angel's shout, she pulled the trigger.
BOOM!!
The earth trembled!
A magnificent firework blossomed before her. The Khorne daemon was blown apart so completely that not even scraps remained, while the shockwave sent the surrounding Orks and daemons flying together.
But both sides crazily surged toward Xiao Huasheng once again.
Amid this chaotic battlefield, she let out a wild cry.
"Angela! Leave me 10% of the energy. Use all the rest to blow these bastards to death!"
[Manager, you should think this through. Afterward, you must be prepared to be beaten once your energy is depleted.]
"I! Don't! Care!" she snarled, and in the blink of an eye, her wings of light unfolded.
The next second, dozens of Vulcan Gatlings, rocket launchers, and energy grenade launchers appeared around her. All of these weapons could fire through Xiao Huasheng's thoughts.
Without the Reality Stabilization Anchor holding things steady, there was still much more she could do.
