Zu Hao is pragmatic, analytical, and intensely survival-oriented. Shortly after arriving in the Resident Evil world, he decides that he is not a savior and prioritizes his own survival over strangers’ pleas for help. He approaches unfamiliar worlds as problems to be studied, testing his telekinesis, assessing local power structures, and exploiting knowledge of each story’s future events. 2 8 20

He is ruthlessly decisive toward those he judges dangerous, corrupt, or expendable. Flying Swords of Dragon Gate

After adopting a swordsman’s appearance, Zu Hao enters the Dragon Gate desert and begins testing his telekinesis. 7 8 At Dragon Gate Inn, he covertly manipulates the conflict among the West Depot, Tartars, and Old Zhai’s men, resulting in Tan Luzi’s death and internal distrust among the West Depot. 14 He kills Zhao Huai'an, survives the Black Sandstorm underground, obtains Little Divine Edge, and defeats Yu Huatian in the buried treasure palace. 17 18 19

After looting the Yuan treasury with Bulu Du, Zu Hao abandons her and enters the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre world to pursue stronger martial arts. 20

Zu Hao allies himself with Zhang Sanfeng’s group by offering to locate the Nine Yang Manual for Zhang Wuji. He gains Wudang instruction, protects Zhang Wuji, Zhou Zhiruo, Yin Li, and Yang Buhui, and develops into their harsh but reliable mentor. 21 23 24 32

He acquires the Nine Yin Manual and Dragon-Subduing Eighteen Palms, uses poison-based reversal to reach the first-rate realm, and clears Black Mountain Stronghold while forcing the children under his protection to confront violence firsthand. 29 30 34 After reuniting Yang Buhui with Yang Xiao, he supplies the Ming Cult with agricultural and technical knowledge, has the Heavenly Sword reforged, and secretly memorizes Heaven and Earth Shift. 37 38

Entering the new world under the identity of a teacher, Zu Hao targets the Nine-Dragon Stone, Phoenix Blood, and Frostfall Sword as potential gains. 44 He rescues Liu Yiyi and uses her attraction to him to gain access to Ten-Thousand Horses Fort and Sai Huatuo’s circle. 45

After defeating Ren Qianxing, Zu Hao confronts the Supreme Alliance alone. The prolonged battle triggers the Negative Reversal System’s response to his leaking Nine Yang true qi, allowing him to break into the Innate Realm. 47 49 He then masters the first six levels of Heaven and Earth Shift and begins the dangerous seventh level. 50
