Background / History

Umbrella Corporation modified Alice with the T-virus. By the Raccoon City outbreak, she possesses mental perception that lets her sense T-virus carriers, although her telekinesis has not yet awakened. This shared infection status creates an immediate resonance when she encounters Zu Hao. 2

Before the events in Raccoon City, Matt was Alice’s companion during the Hive incident. After being scratched by a Licker, he was captured by Umbrella and later transformed into Nemesis; Alice recognizes him from the three scars on his arm. 4

Story Role / Major Arcs

Raccoon City Outbreak

Alice meets Zu Hao outside Kent Firearms while both sense their shared T-virus nature. After a brief armed standoff, they agree to cooperate and escape through the city by motorcycle. 2

She and Zu Hao intervene at a church under Licker attack, using a motorcycle explosion and coordinated gunfire to save Jill, Peyton, and Bella. The survivors then form a temporary group. 2

Nemesis and Angela Rescue

When Peyton begins transforming, Alice immediately recognizes the infection and urges the group to eliminate him, putting her at odds with Jill. 3

During Nemesis’s attack on the overpass, Alice acts as Zu Hao’s distraction, leaping down and drawing the creature’s fire while he prepares the fatal sniper shot. Afterward, she realizes Nemesis was Matt. 4

Alice helps locate and rescue Angela from Raccoon City Elementary School, quietly eliminating infected children alongside Zu Hao before the group confronts zombie dogs. 4

City Hall Helicopter Hijacking

Alice agrees to act as bait because Umbrella is specifically pursuing her. She and Zu Hao infiltrate City Hall from the exterior while the others approach from the front. 5 6

Alice escapes aboard the hijacked helicopter as a nuclear blast destroys Raccoon City. Witnessing the city’s destruction, she condemns Umbrella for abandoning its survivors. Her fate is left unresolved after the helicopter is struck and crashes during Zu Hao’s emergency dimensional transit. 7
