Background

Ye Yu was the Crown Prince of Great Yan and governed with an Imperial Heart Art, bringing the dynasty through what was described as its most glorious period. He also entered the Nine Nether Blood Spring and survived after suppressing its blood qi—an achievement no one else had matched. 1 2

A year after returning from the spring, he was framed as a demonic cultivator who had created the Nine Nether Blood Spring to seize Great Yan's throne. Ye Xuan secretly caused the demonic energy outbreak used as evidence against him, while the royal family and public accepted the accusation.
