She frowned. "What? Why do you keep looking over here? Trying to steal my sweets?"

"Haven't you heard the talk lately? Golden Lion, Whitebeard, and that Wrath of Winter are being called the Pirate Emperors of the New World. Some busybodies are even calling them the Three Emperors!" Kaido folded his newspaper and looked at Charlotte Linlin.

Her expression grew complicated.

When she said nothing, Kaido went on. "Shiki and Whitebeard, fine. Those two really are strong. But who the hell is this Wrath of Winter, Vikengam? What gives him the right to stand above us?

"Doesn't that embarrass you?"

"Vikengam is strong!" Charlotte Linlin fixed her gaze on Kaido. "Have you forgotten? He fought Garp on Savila Island not long ago. The papers said they fought for three days and two nights without a winner. You know better than anyone how strong Garp is, don't you?"

The last time the Marines had captured Kaido, it was because he had run into Garp.

Garp had pinned him down and beaten him black and blue.
