• Ian abandoned bloodline fusion and created the Magic Rewriting Seed, then named himself the first test subject of his Self-Bloodline Modification Plan.
• Ian spent Christmas with Helena and later accompanied Harry to the Mirror of Erised, where he warned Harry about its dangers and confronted Death through experiments and visions.

Back in 1992, he prepared Amelia to take power, brought Bellatrix under his control, and began turning Hogwarts into the first cornerstone of a new order while continuing his research into the Second Limitation.

• Ian transformed his body, broke through the First Limitation, tested his new abilities, and built a Blue Philosopher’s Stone from purified souls and magic.

• Ian showed the Death Eaters that Voldemort survived, won their allegiance, replaced their Dark Marks, and established a merit-based research library while declaring that Muggles would have a place in his New Order.
• Ian challenged Death about their arrangements, then worked with Snape and his followers on research and training, while Death investigated its own invisible restraints and Ian concluded that even a god feared him.
• Ian helped establish his knowledge-based system at Hogwarts, expanded his alchemy classes, and offered to remove the Horcrux from Harry before demanding that Dumbledore replace Lockhart.
• Ian sealed Voldemort’s soul fragment from Harry in a diamond, lifted the curse on the Defense Against the Dark Arts post, and offered werewolves potions that restored control or traded their souls for power.
