Ian completed the Floating City, trapped Herpo for research, and led the Arcane Empire through a costly war against the Steel-Skin Folk. He then launched a Multiverse expedition, where he resolved Frank’s curse before heading to Egypt to confront Imhotep and seek the Golden Book of the Sun.

• Ian and Nicolas Flamel completed the Floating City, while Rowena, Hermione, and Luna advanced to Legendary status and revealed their new powers.
• Ian lured Herpo into a pocket dimension with a false promise of escape, then had Alti’s team test and drain his Divine Power.
• Ian and Amelia used the destruction of a cloned fleet to rally the Empire for war against the Steel-Skin Folk.
• Olivia Armstrong led the Cold Gold Squad in raids that crippled the Steel-Skin Folk’s launch facilities, and Grindelwald destroyed their attacking fleet.

Ian advanced the Empire’s research by studying ancient magic, divine power, and Novad technology, then developed Arcane Fire as a means of purifying magic and other energies. After crossing into Chloe’s world, he began preparing to conquer it while training Chloe as a Dreamwalker.

• Ian captured Imhotep and studied the Golden Book of the Sun before traveling with Hermione to Shangri-La, where he subdued Zi Yuan and found the Oracle Bone Scripture.
• Ian sent the resurrected Dragon Emperor into the Void, advanced to the Sixth Tier, and began investigating Anubis’s plans and the gods’ influence.
• Ian studied The Library and the Book of Solomon, learning from Solomon about the war among the gods and receiving memories of popular culture from Earth.
• Ian seized a Novad spaceship at Akator, learned its technology, and later demonstrated a Seventh-Tier attack before summoning Dolos and developing Arcane Fire.
• Ian purified his magic and discovered Arcane Fire could refine souls, bloodlines, and materials, then crossed into Earth-234 and was rescued by Chloe.
• Ian taught Chloe about the multiverse and the Empire, announced his plan to conquer her dimension, and began training her as a Dreamwalker.

Ian conquered Earth and returned home after surviving Jehovah’s attack, then resumed his rule of the Arcane Empire and reunited with his family. As he investigated new magical threats and arranged protection for a gifted student, Juliette faced a choice about the Divine Potion and consulted nine masked figures.

• Ian brought Earth’s population into cryogenic storage, returned to Earth-125, and later dismantled Earth-234 for its materials.
• Ian and his companions fought Jehovah, whose attacks damaged the Floating City, until Lily protected it and Ian severed Jehovah’s arm with the Sword of Obscurials.
• Ian escaped with the damaged Floating City, planned upgrades, and entered hibernation while Morgana repaired the ship.
• Ian returned to the Empire, learned how spellcasters could access Authority, and arrived above Earth, alerting Arcanists that the Archon was home.

Ian expanded the Empire, launched the Akashic Records, and entered the Black Clover universe, where the Cosmic Will sealed much of his power and memories. He built the Blue Ravenclaw Squad, became Wizard King, and ended the arc anticipating Asta and Yuno’s arrival as Lucius threatened the Clover Kingdom.

• Ian met Federation ambassadors, learned of their ties to Laifeir, and publicly examined Herpo’s divine nature during a broadcast that promoted Arcane research.
• Kelona helped Ian prepare the Akashic Records, which he activated with the Illuminati before trading knowledge and planning journeys into other universes.
• The Cosmic Will sealed Ian’s memories and abilities after he entered the Black Clover universe, but he regained awareness at his Grimoire ceremony and quickly learned spells by studying Grimoires.
